How are you holding up bros?
GTX 1070
>50 games in the backlog
>70 games in the wishlist
>every single one of them runs/will run perfectly fine
I'm good
Going good thanks.
I mainly just play gmod. swamp cinema.
I mostly play BF4 and Warframe so I'm good.
Good, turn shadows to medium and I'm good to go. Might upgrade to a 2080 super when retards tank the prices.
Very well. I upgrade every second generation so I'm due for one. See ya boys when we're at the 5080.
Lol I reckon I'll be lucky to get 400 for my 2080ti so yeah go for it I'll keep mine
Gonna give my 1080ti to a homie in need.
I got a 1070 with an i7-4790k. I play most games in 4k just fine but RDR2 is the first game I've really struggled with. Mostly just fuck around in KSP or openttd these days. Aus dollar is fucked, buying a new rig is too expensive reeee
Pretty good! I don't play many new games because they tend to be cinematic dogshit but I ran RE2 and Doom Eternal just fine on high settings. Gonna jump to a 3080 most likely. They recommend a 750W power supply but I have a 650, am I fucked? The spergs over at /g/ seem to think I'll be fine, I have a ryzen 3600 if it matters, not planning to overclock.
I will get a 3070
Is the 1070TI still viable for max settings 1080p 60FPS gaming?
I have a 1060 and I don't care much since 2077 is the last game I'll ever play and quit games for good
I'm doing well, thank you. I got my 1070 in 2017 as an upgrade for my PC I built in 2011. I've only got an i5-2500k and 8GB RAM running on Win 7 but it does the job for me; the 1070 is probably overkill desu. The most graphically advanced game I've played recently was Frostpunk, it was fun and looked pretty.
bought a 750ti recently
i'm okay :)
GTX 1080 here, can I join you?
Good. 1070 and i7 8700k. I'm still playing almost everything on max settings. There's some definite struggle at 1440 and above, but my screen is physically only 1080 pixels anyway.
980ti here which is pretty similar, finally gonna upgrade since I'm running 1440p 144hz. Gonna give my card to my flatmate who is on 1080p 60 should do him well.
Not too well since I've upgraded to 3440x1440, then again I barely play anything.
Would jump to 3070 but 8 gb of vram scares me, plus Big Navi is apparently even better than GP102 architecture of Nvidia.
great, going to upgrade in a year or so when I get VR, otherwise it handles everything no problem.
Planned to upgrade, but looks like i will inherit 1080ti, so i'm fine.
>i7 3770k
I think it's time to replace everything but my GPU for now.
Ryzen 4 fucking when
My 1080 runs the games perfectly I play now and will in the future.
Mine does ok in most games. there are some where i have to lower the resolution down from 1440p to 1080p and it makes my eyes hurt like I don't have my glasses on shit's so blurry. So I'm probably getting a 3080.
Just fine. Still playing on 1080p as god intended.
Nice user!
I have a 1080p60 monitor and my GTX 1080 is perfect for that
I had to lower the settings on Microsoft Flight Simulator and RDR2 a bit but they're still like very high and looking great.
I also get a few fps drops in The Division 2 in some areas but it's rare.
It's holding up so well that I can hold off buying a 3000 series card until prices are good. But you shouldn't wait for a 4000 series card because by then you'll be desperate to buy and will have to buy at inflated launch prices.
Gonna upgrade to a 3080.
My 1070 served me well these past 4 years.
I'm on an i7 4770 + 1070 and want a full upgrade for next gen but that's gonna easily cost me upto a couple thousand. I'm considering getting xbox series x for 2 years and then getting 3000 series.
I have a 970 and it's been awesome, but it does struggle to run new games at 1080p 60fps
I don't have a 4k monitor tho so I'd just been keen for the absolutely rock solid 1080p.
I have exactly that card
Now I'm wondering if I want to change to a 3070, how much value still has my card?
