THANK YOU BASED NVIDIA
>Nvidia
>Based
Pick one
is it really that different
>40-50 fps boost
At half the price of a 2080ti
>different drivers
How much is the 3080 and how much is the driver optimization?
>4k 100-144 FPS
Damn. This thing might be properly overpowered for my 1440p 144 display.
Hoping for rock-solid 144 fps.
I hope NVidia doesn‘t fuck up the launch cards. I‘m pretty tempted to go in blind right now.
>700 dollars every 2 years for just a GPU just to play last gen games
Do pc fats really do this?
Your cope is unreal
>100 FPS VS 140 FPS
Can you really see the difference?
What's the point if it's past 60fps?
>tfw 1080p 60fps fag
>this thing will be for a long time overkill until i decide to upgrade
can't believe i'm buying something from jewvidia
In a game like doom yeah. Most games you wont notice 100 to 140 though.
No, according to the steam hardware survey about 40% of users are still on the 10xx line of GPUs. Only a small fraction of enthusiasts stay upgraded to the most recent hardware, most PC users upgrade about as frequently as console generations come around.
>~35-40% performance improvement at 4k
Not bad, the GTX 1080 was ~25-30% faster than the 980 Ti at launch, so that's fairly impressive.
Shame it's still like $700.
>All these losers looking at the 3070 or 3080
>I'll be LMAOing at their lives with my 3090
Imagine not buying a 3090.
>it looks the same
w..woah
I'm lmaoing at your mobo breaking apart from the weight of it
Nope
most people use cheap cards from 5 years ago
Where do you see this? Is this from steam games?
its too much power for one man i'll stick with the 3080 ty
Damn, I thought pc was full of rich guys but it seems theyre super poor but i'm guessing that makes sense because of piracy. How are they able to afford a 700 dollar gpu? neetbux?
now turn rtx off and do the comparison
Imagine for 1 single solitary second being a consolekek
I do at least like that Nvidia gets people who aren't absolute shit at games to show off their gameplay.
The guy's not amazing but he's at least competent, which is more than I can say for most other companies when they showcase their games.
>not playing games in 1366x768 as God intended
That's the true benefit of RTX. They discovered this new trick where instead of trying to get very accurate lighting by raytracing everything, you can pre-bake everything and end up with "good enough" lighting that's very convincing and actually boosts your FPS by about 40. It's amazing tech.
>RTX 3080 will be able to run current gen games at 8k60 on medium-high settings
Not gonna lie, that's pretty impressive.
That's the best part of PC. You can be on the cutting edge of hardware if you've got the money, you can spend a reasonable price to be competitive with console hardware, or you can be a poorfag and still play 90% of games the release along with nearly infinite backwards compatibility (and console BC as well)
>1% on RTX 2080
Looks to me like the majority of people are reasonable and skipped the 2x series entirely, with some holdouts on the 970 which is still doing pretty fine for a fucking 2014 card.
You have this revolutionary technology from nvidia
Then you have Sony running ps5 tatchell and clank at 30fps 4k
And xbox upgrading there ssd what a funding joke
>every 2 years
why would anyone do this, I got my computer 5 years ago and it's still fine to this day to play any game
