Lilties as a race are worse at magic and their only redeeming quality was higher strength and stronger weapons. This game gives every race multiple weapons up to 17 strength stronger than lilties’ best weapon, making them objectively worse than every other race. The focus attacks for the weapons are also inferior to the one on longinus, their original ultimate weapon. Absolutely no reason for a lilty to bother with the post game weapons

I was having a great time with the original stuff and then I beat the game. My enthusiasm kind of fizzled out when I realized the hard mode dungeons are just endless grinding for the sake of grinding. There’s no super extra end game boss or anything so what’s the point

Lilties are still strong with longinus, which was grossly OP in the original. The issue is that they didn't really get stronger. Best bet for a Lilty is either using the focus acc with longinus for the dmg increase and spamming bladestorm while accepting the occasional interrupt, or taking the hit to dmg and using the force ring so nothing can stop bladestorm from completing. Spamming focus strikes is what they should do though.
People are still mathing it all out, but there seems to be a case for Yukes (on paper) to take the cast time accessory instead of the OP dmg accessory. In real world conditions though, it might not work out that way. There's also the issue of how differently Yukes play when you can fuse your own spells in single player.
Selkies should absolutely get that hastega racket. In single player they should set up a fusion strike in the command list to spam. In multiplayer they're probably better off just doing basic combos with the haste racket.
Clavats have the strongest basic combo now. They should use it over their focus attacks. I'm still not sure on how spamming nukes with the cast time accessory compares for them.

this is so fucking stupid. take the race who's whole gimmick is having the fastest focus attack charge and make their highest damage weapons have focus attacks that don't deal damage. ruins their entire playstyle.

You'd have a better chance using Join rather than Quick Match. You can clearly see what cycle the lobby is before joining.
