The game is fucking amazing. I'm not very far (I'm exploring the caves after the armored spider archstone and I'm lost as shit; doing the archstones in order) but the game so far has been every bit as good as Dark Souls.

here's some advice user, if you don't have any spells you're about to get filtered by the next boss. I recommend checking the other levels to see what you can find.

If you are doing the stones in order you might find yourself a bit strong for the first levels of other stones. But thats my advice for it

yes, there is asynchronous shader compilation and its even working Online( but i did not set it up yet), the only issue i had is the soldier shield been invisible but that is minor.

My current machine is a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB Ram and a GTX1060 3GB; the game pretty much runs like Dsfix Dark Souls PTDE; haven't tried the 60 fps unlocker or fancier graphical effects yet. I'm also using the latest RPCS3 version.
Before it I tried running it on an FX6300 + 8GB RAM (same GPU) and barely ran at 10 fps, shitting itself constantly.

1. Google "Demon's Souls PS3 ISO". The first two results have direct downloads.
2. Download said ISO.
3. Download and install RPCS3
4. Move the ISO to the folder \dev_hdd0\disc on the RPCS3 installation folder
5. Download the latest PS3 firmware from Sony's website
6. Install said firmware when RPCS3 asks for it.
7. Play Demon's Souls.
I've beaten every From Soulslike and non-From Soulslike I've played at least once with pure strength, even when people memed that some of them were unbeatable without abusing magic or certain specific mechanics; I doubt Demon's will be any different.
Flamelurker is piss easy. The whole game in general is. If you've played any of the other Souls games, you can breeze through DeS in less than 10 hours. I fucked around in the Shrine of Storms last I played to farm souls, and my total playtime was 11 hours when I beat the final boss.
Be sure to play online for the optimal experience

I find it hilarious how emulating PS3 and WiiU on my PC is significantly easier on my PC than running MHW with max settings.
They are going to copy Zelda retard (where you can beat the final boss in the beginning) like they always have.
reminder you can also run it at 60fps (without physics bugs).
flamelurker is hard if you dont run and poke, the trick to that fight is hit and run.

Don't expect much, it's still the worst souls game with the easiest gummick bosses.
Not trying to ruin the fun, but you're comparing a mid gen PS4 title that runs on a garbage frankenstein engine to a PS3 and a console that is weaker than the 360.
*also if you get a torrent with a rpcs3 version, make sure you update to the latest version.
