And we know that they posted some jobs for the game recently which at best implies that they have started development. You also gotta remember that Todd said the game was going to use a whole new engine and not just more gamebryo based coding. I know he's a fucking liar and charlatan but if we assume that they are even just doing a new revision for Creation that is no small feat. Not to mention anything else about making the game. I don't see Starfield coming out before 2023.

As someone who works in software development, this is not how that shit works. You can have 300 Pajeets on a single project, but that doesn't mean it will go fast or be a quality product. You'll also need more leaders to go with more teams, and project managers to sew it all together and more HR to fix other bullshit. So hiring a bunch of people won't always increase the pace, certainly not the quality and will increase costs by more infrastructure of people around.
