It's alright. Nothing spectacular or anything but I had a good time.

Yeah I just played it for the first time over the last week and I really enjoyed it. You have to be the type of guy that can enjoy slow atmospheric gameplay though

>only 25% off
fuck no

Depends how high on the spectrum you are.

Mid low :-(

That's fine. I edge my cock to RDR2

No

No
Wait till its 10 dollars

As someone who got it release day, no.

too expensive still
needs to be 1999 or below

at least 30 hours if you focus just on the story
100 if you do side shit

you'll enjoy it. the story has its moments but is iffy. delivering packages was surprisingly very fun. there's a lot of freedom in how you play, similar to mgsv. the game is gorgeous, probably on rdr2 is better.

If you are a fan of Kojima branded hijinks, definitely yes.

Absolutely. Incredibly refreshing and much needed take on open world genre

>refreshing walking simulator

>1999
But that's almost as much a both of my computers cost?

It scratches some of those same itches that RDR2 did for me. Well worth the price, and it's got really good progression in terms of starting off simple and giving you a bunch of new toys to fuck with over time.

thinking of getting this and DA: inquisition bundle with ME: Andromeda but only if someone convinces me.

>played the pc version at launch
>max comfy waling sim and threads
>suddenly reach chapter 3
>dude carry mama around a mountain lmao
>and then go up in the snow that will be fun
>reach heartman's place
>more goddamn snow
>uninstall
Game was neat up until that shit.

Snow is nice and mama is coom worthy.

deliveries on side quests at least early on is shit tier, don't pretend otherwise bro.

i wish i were as blind as a bat so i could echolocate

it's a rucking simulator, leglet. you also ride motorcycles, drive weird trucks and ride ziplines

mountains is where I grew to love the game. finally some terrain that was difficult to cross

but if you want ez mode then just spend an hour setting up a zipline system and you can get around the mountains no problem

Dolphins also echolocate.

Yes. I really enjoyed it.

If you can... skip every cinema, play for about an hour and half (skip every cinema) and if you don't generally like what you have done, refund it because while you do get some quality of life improvements the basics never significantly change.

Skip the cinemas because the opening is super cinema heavy and it will eat up your refund time.

flying is cooler

before you get the power exoskeleton sure but I enjoyed delivering after that. the first few hours before you get the bola gun are pain though

NOOOOOOOOO I HAD TO GET THIS BLACK SEMEN TO THE WHITE WOMEN IN DOG KNOT CITY!!!!

Go for it
We're gonna get a resurgence of Death Stranding Threads with this sale

it's free on gamepass you dunce

>all the people that thought this post apoc delivery simulator was anything other than that
All the commercials promised a nonsensical story and walking. How did the get duped?

It's not worth even $5

>py6
What currency is that even?

How did a video game make you so butthurt?

i liked the mountains but it does feel like you're up there for fucking forever when you're following the story

I'd wait for it to be way cheaper. I got a ton of playtime out of it but I wasn't really enjoying myself. The entire game feels like a grind.

The walking wasn't interesting or nice to look at, and the story was nonsensical in the wrong way. I honestly should've known better, but it's another example of Kojima taking potentially interesting ideas and ruining them by explaining too much while the parts of the story that should make sense, like characters and motivations, are the parts that are full of holes.

Once you get to the second area, the game turns more into a logistics-building simulator than a hiking one.

I did a very thorough playthrough online and I'm honestly more or less "done" with the game. But I'm sorta tempted to load up a trainer and just build roads everywhere and take one last drive around.

I WALK A LONELY ROAD

got it from GMG on release for $45
Hard to tell how close I am to the end but I'm happy with it so far. Perfect mix of relaxing and wacky.
Is there a third map? I'm assuming there is but not sure. I just got to Heartman.

For me the walking was actually really interesting. Every step mattered. I really planned my routes. And I loved the online aspect.

The art direction could have been better.

Agree with the story though. The game ends like three times and making you run around the beach with the credits was a massive waste of time.

It's just a joke. I like the game and I laughed

bought twice at 60 on ps4 and pc because its a good game

if its not your thing it's not your thing
but this is a very competent port

It runs very well but I expected more graphical customization. Really disappointed by the draw distance.

I don't mind product placement generally, but I find myself totally unable to get over the Monsterâ„¢ energy drinks. It's such a small thing, but it's so fucking retarded that it completely takes me out of the world.

it's probably going to drop lower, it's not really worth it, so it's better to wait

>free
>gamepass
lmao fuck that subscription cuck shit

Rouble
Is it still DRMed by Denuvo?
Will buy for 500rub later after they will lower price+give sale+get rid of Denuvo

i JUST bought this game full price, fuck this gay earth
at least im enjoying it

Steam will let you refund it actually. Even after the 2 hour mark if a sale happens right after

Third map is just a straight corridor

What's wrong, user, you don't like the SIP?

send help

It doesn't have deep or interesting logicstics-building though, and the progression is all gated by the story missions anyway. Maybe if you could actually decide where to put roads or if your buildings had secondary effects to consider, but there isn't any reason to do any of the side missions anyway.

Like if you actually wanted to optimize the shit out of deliveries, you'd bumrush ziplines and then just build a zipline network that encompasses the entire map and then every delivery just becomes minutes of watching Sam zip around everywhere. It's not challenging or interesting, it just feeds into that grinding compulsion to see numbers go up.

I found it disappointing that I never actually had to plan a single route. The map is not big or complicated enough to ever need it, and most of the time you can't route around obstacles anyway so you might as well just deal with them.

The walking mechanics themselves also aren't deep or complicated, you don't even have to care about inclines or elevation that much since if you can QTE balance your way through anything, and eventually you unlock powered skeletons that render those shallow mechanics pointless.

Yeah, I'm thinking the winter sale for some comfy winter activities.

No. If you're afraid of proceeding too far, simply dont cross the tar belt until you feel you're ready to finish the main story. You can still do the supply run to the shore of the tar belt with no worries.

Be honest. Do you play a game after you finish it? Game Pass is just 1 dollar.

I really hated how the vehicles snapped to the ground so easily. Never get more than a second of hangtime when going for a jump or something.

Well thats the thing, you still have to build that zipline yourself. Which takes time by itself. You build roads mostly for truck deliveries and getting a ton of Likes periodically.

I didn't know that. Thanks user.

TAA is fucking terrible. Please change your anti-aliasing. The visuals are blurry as fuck because you are using a bad form of it. I played both RDR2 and DS and switching from TAA to something else was fucking amazing.

>finishing games
kek

Not if it still has denuvo DRM.

>I found it disappointing that I never actually had to plan a single route.
Sounds like you didnt take multiple deliveries at once and carry as much shit as possible at once.
