I think the XSX will be more effective, one large fan drawing air through the entire thing and it's way larger heatsink.

Sony's thermal design has been absolutely atrocious since PS3 and that thing was a beast at the time. But the tolerances and quality control on the heatsinks was abysmal. I had just hoped they had learned from their mistakes. Seems like they didn't. I'm steering clear for now.

The smaller the fan, the higher the rpm, the more noise it makes.

That fan will make a lot of noise and probably not draw all that much air from the tiny vents there.

if it’s a mockup it aint ps3 slim, ps3 had a flattened heatsink that has to cool the cell and rsx

Bigger fans are more quiet because they can run slower to get the same air throughput you brainlet
