And it's a genuinely great game, I enjoyed it more than Dark Souls 3. Why are matthewmatosis drones so fucking salty?
So I replayed Dark souls 2
because it wasn't as advertised during the time it was teased.
Why do you care? Plenty of people like Dark Souls II. Focus on them.
People are allowed to dislike things.
But to answer your question, I'm pretty sure there's a lengthy youtube video that you already know about that can explain their point of view to you.
Maybe next time you could consider asking a question about the game you like, rather than the youtuber you dislike.
Playing it right now for the first time.
Easily the worst Souls-like game so far.
Not even debatable.
>matthewmatosis
who
nice blogpost fag
It's a mess of bad design choices
You have to acknowledge it's a mess thrown to gether so they get something resembling a game out. And it feels like a game from maybe 2002 or something especially with the lack of a lighting system. However, it's still an adventure-rpg and has that adventure feel to it and a sense of exploration. So in that sense I enjoyed it more. III is more polished but it's a pure boss-rush action game with plenty of rolls. And I just don't like those games as much.
It has a shit PvE, but the best PvP in the entire series
We have this same exact thread EVERY FUCKING DAY
Is it possible to like both ds2 and ds3? I really liked ds2 so I'm not sure if I should bother playing ds3
Posting in a bait thread
I replayed it a few months ago and when I dropped from the small ledge in Lost Bastille which prohibited me from going back to the bonfire I came from I realized why it's the worst DS.
I still had fun playing it but let's not pretend it's a masterpiece
I played it just after the first one and it felt like shit. I made me quit souls games, I think ds1 and bloodborne were enough.
Tranny post, unironically. This post was written by a tranny creature. Your phrasing is vomit-inducing.
Are you Swedish?
>why are matthewmatosis drones so fucking salty?
because from finally made a GOOD souls game. dark souls 1 was busted to shit, dark souls 3 is actually aids, bloodborne was forgettable, but dark souls 2 is actually a pretty fucking good game. the pvp arena was very solid when it was released, in the scholar edition there weren't any absolutely game breaking glitches like there were in dark souls 1 and the potential for builds are endless. it's the best souls game people are just salty because you actually have to get invested in it. the payoff is you get to experience an amazing game
You will never be a woman.
I'm certain you are a Swede judging by how passive-aggressive, indirect and slimy your formulation is.
>I'm pretty sure there's a lengthy youtube video that you already know about that can explain their point of view to you.
You couldn't bring yourself to name the video or assert that you know it with certainty because you had to be passive-aggressive. You couldn't bring yourself to state that you share that point of view either, even though you do.
>Maybe next time you could consider
So repulsively passive. You feign concern in order to establish the appearance of good will and obscure the spite that motivated you to type it.
hbomberguydrone
ds2 and demon souls are the only souls game i can replay and truly enjoy
ds is a fucking chore, do not want.
Yeah, DS2's level design really pisses me off with the excessive amount of one-way drops that force you to use bonfire warping to get back. Even within the same goddamn level. It's really annoying when you're trying to explore around a single level making sure to get all the available items, and then that happens. At which point you either just give up exploring the section you can't get back to, or you have to warp/bone which resets the enemies and you have to clear the entire fucking thing over again.
The mere mention of DS2 makes this board seethe out of the asshole. Cheers based DS2 bro
Your game will always be shit no matter how many threads you spam
On my first play through after playing ds3 first and 1 after. Feel like it has the perfect amount of bonfires throughout a level. Repair powder is actually useful because I’m constantly teetering on breaking my weapon.
True to the game
Every 2fag is a bandwagoner and a parrot. No such thing as a based 2fag.
I don't like the base game. The DLCs are fantastic tho. Gimme a recommended build/weapon that I can focus on building during the base game so that I can ball out in the DLCs
>Repair powder is actually useful because I’m constantly teetering on breaking my weapon.
That's actually a mistake, as durability is tied to frame rate, and at 60fps your weapons are half as durable.
It all comes down to how much you love Roll + R1 and how little you care about builds.
DS2 is good despite development hell, but a key issue is that the marketing all reflected the visions the studio had for the game prior to development hell.
I love this janky game.
Right on time.
>breaking my weapon.
I feel like you're supposed to have several weapons and switch between them based on the enemy you fight. Not only does that make enemies easier to beat, it fixes any durability issues.
