What weapons you lot hoping to see make it in?
What weapons you lot hoping to see make it in?
Meltagun
Not the best zombie killing weapon, but I am curious to how they would visualize it.
Various lasguns and it´s patterns, and a "normal" sized Bolter.
And depending on the level or it´s environment a stationary heavy-bolter/storm-bolter.
>Various lasguns and it´s patterns
what patterns user? Accatran? Vostroyan?Lucious Pattern 98?
Choosing Guardsmen was a mistake. They can't hold the cool guns like heavy bolters. Instead we'll get shitty flashlights and some retarded miniature melee weapons when we should be swinging power axes and using terminator fists.
But IG can use power axes and power fists
The venerable heavy stubber my dude
yes with different stats or effects
t.heretic, bet you didnt even know there are human sized bolters did ya
Smaller versions of them, at best. And nobody wants to play retarded Ogryn.
Flamey Shotgun
We dont even know how the game will play, and the options of character, levels, and enemies.
In any case, Fatshark would be too stupid to not put all weapons & variants avaliable from 40K.
The characters are from an Inquisitor. So expect a variety of characters. There will not be normal guardsmen, expect more shit like Tempestus Scion, or Stormtroopers.
if i remember aint that what space marine did?
I really hope not. Meltaguns are single target point-blank annihilation machines, not shotguns.
>We dont even know how the game will play, and the options of character, levels, and enemies.
speculation is fun tho
Who do you play as?
The cool lasgun Karskin/Scions use.
I'm happy they chose human Imperium rather than muh marines, too bad using poxwalkers means the other average enemy would be plague marines and that is kind of unrealistic if we're using guards/inq/ogryns.
Hope they let me use a cool ass Catachan.
We don't know yet. People are speculating Inquisitorial Acolytes, basically an Inquisitor's hired goons. That would provide us with a range of playstyles ala Vermintide's different characters.
I would love to play as a Skitarii or Tempestus Scion.
But the best choice would be playing as a Stormtrooper, a mowing down Poxwalkers with my Hellgun.
I know but
>short range
>high damage high ap
I would personally visualize it as shooting an incandescent ring of energy that melts shit, but who knows?
>Inquisitorial Acolytes
Hell yeah. Then there's lot's of weapons to choose from.
Exactly. Hell, depending on if the Inquisitor is a Radical, we could even have a xenos class like an Eldar or Kroot. Although I swear, if I have to hear fucking "LUMBERFOOTS" over and over in another game, I'm going to tear my ears off.
It's going to be weird getting the side eye from squadmates for all the "Blood for the Blood God" warcries.
>too bad using poxwalkers means the other average enemy would be plague marines
It doesn't jump straight from poxwalkers to Plague Marines and daemons, there should also be a ton of cultists or what have you as well. People only get the impression that Chaos is Marines and daemons all the way down because the tabletop has been almost straight-up ignoring the cultist side of things for almost a couple of decades now (which sucks by the way because it reduces Chaos to 'Space Marines WITH SPIKES').
Is that a famas
XD I listen to metal and get bullied in school too
Exactly. What we'll probably see is
>Poxwalkers as melee cannon fodder
>Cultists as slightly more dangerous ranged fodder
>Plaguebearer daemons as more dangerous melee
>Nurglings as swarm-style enemies
>Chaos Spawn as boss-style enemies ala Vermintide
>Plague Marines with both melee and ranged variations as Chaos Warrior equivalents
>forgetting about plague ogryns
Plasma, Las and bolt pistols for sure.
Hope we get a chance to fire a Lascannon, even if its just to clear a barricade or something.
actually made me laugh out loud my dude
i just hate chaosfags so much
What weapons you lot hoping to see make it in?
>someone call for an earthshaker ?
i'dd also love to see a wyvren mortar at work
This is a larger version of the image used for the header on the game's Steam page. It appears to show four playable characters: a typical Inquisitorial henchman complete with flamethrower and brazier, an Ogryn, a rank-and-file Guardsman, and a cloaked figure that appears to be carrying a long-las.
Hot-shot lasgun
