How sensitive are you to input lag anyway?
I'm very sensitive and I can feel the difference in lag whenever I hook up my consoles to a new monitor or tv. I can't even stand emulating games because there's always additional lag that comes with emulation.

the sleep mode function let's me pause cutscenes on MGS2 or 3. Not being able to do that on the PS2 was a huge bummer, and I know it can't be done on ps3 either.
