What is Bowser's Fury and will it be enough to be worth buying the game twice?

I have a swtich and haven't played Odyssey because people keep saying is too easy and something always looked a little odd about the game.
This game on the other hand looks pretty good, and since I never owned a WU I will definitely get it.
But is it as good as it looks?

Because switch toddlers who said Wii U had no games now want every wii u game to be ported to this system because they deserve a chance to play them.

THEN when they buy the switch 2 or whatever the next console is, they are going to be shocked when there are no games for the system. They will wonder why its mostly just switch ports, and wonder why Nintendo didn't try to make more games for it like they did with the switch. They won't realize that the reason the switch lineup was so "amazing" was because they had an entire generation of games ported to the system around launch. They will simply be mad because Nintendo tried to give them ports to games they already own.

3D World is a strange game
very much a mix between something like Super Mario World and Mario 64
the difficulty curve is pretty shallow for most of the early game, but has some decent challenge towards the end and in bonus worlds
i think this release will be looked at more favorably since we've had a "proper" 3D Mario game with Odyssey

Complete with mostly unmemorable levels. Hell of a monkey's paw.

3d World is honestly great, the main game has a similar difficulty curve to the new super mario bros series, but there's a pretty lengthy post-game where stuff gets difficult

Every Mario game that isn't Lost Levels is easy. Only a handful of Mario games have a few 'hard' levels at the very end and even then people exaggerate how difficult they really are.

There’s nothing to indicate they were supposed to be anything more than boss arenas, there’s not even any concept art for cloud/ ruined kingdom inhabitants in the Art of SMO booklet.
