True. The fact remains that giving us straight ports is the laziest route they could have taken. Nintendo is the richest company in Japan, they aren’t a tiny indie studio. They had the means to do a lot more than what they’re giving us. Stop defending effortless cash grabs.

There isn’t though. The PC port looks the same. They showed us many of the different worlds and from all the gameplay that was shown the only changes were the logo on Mario’s hat and the button prompts showing switch buttons.

It showed GC buttons for sunshine, but for 64 it says press + to start, go rewatch it. Also as an aside, I thought the GC buttons being shown during sunshine meant it would have GC controller support but the Jap site already confirmed it will not support the GC controller, so fuck

They could have and I'd have preferred it that way, but then you'd have people whining, just like they did about pic related. There's no satisfying some people. Even worse is the majority of those people were never going to play the games to begin with.
