It really is fun. I was scared it would play like HD or 5, but it really feels like THPS4 (since it plays like the older games, but has all the tricks and gameplay elements from 4).

THPS is more of an arcadey thing you can sit down and play while listening to music and kill a bunch of time. If getting high scores, beating challenges, or just playing mindlessly then get THPS.
If you want a slow burn unique experience that'll last you 30-60 hours, get Death Stranding.
THPS has way more replay ability but I love both games

I need to play more, but at the moment it feels closer to THPS HD than it does THPS2. It does that thing where you need to input a special grind trick right before you grind, otherwise it won't recognize it.
And while it's way faster than THPS5, it still takes a while between resetting a run and starting again.
