Can't wait for their next game. It looks like absolute kino.

Yeah I can't fucking wait I'm starving for info on it. Still no idea when it's going to come out

It's the opposite of outside.

To be more detailed, when you put your penis in (your toy name here), you put it INSIDE (your toy name here).

On the contrary, OUTSIDE is this weird green soil topped with a blue sky you can see when you look through the strange non-reflective mirror in your room. I've heard some people call it a "window" by the way, that's probably why it doesn't reflect your face, since Microsoft cat code for the sake of their life.

Playdead is the second best independent European studio (after Amanita Design). I hope they keep creating ludo.

I haven't really thought about this game since around the time it came out, but I recall coming to the conclusion that it's a pointless endeavor to try to extract some kind of indisputable meaning out of it. Felt like devs throwing in whatever ominous imagery they could think of and then just letting the players decide what to make of it. And yes, I got the meta secret ending where you get all of the hidden collectibles, too.

The shockwave chamber and the ambient audio design around it is the best part of the game, btw.

nothing.

thats how rocks are made

Nothing. It was game theory bait to generate attention.

Which Amanita Design games should I play? I know they bowed to SJWs with Chuchel.

?

I feel the same with Little Nightmares, everyone says that uhhh everything has a meaning oooh so many hidden details and symbols. All i can see is one hungry prison breaking kid.

Machinarium and Botanicula.

Each time a player controls anything to surpass an obstacle one individual dies or gets harmed, the first example of this is with the chicken at the farm.

The tone is the meaning, not whatever you think the message is.

it's one on those things that bleed atmosphere and evoke emotions but don't really have any actual point. I forgot everything about this game except the fact that I really enjoyed it both visually and acoustically.

fucking brainlet. It has many meanings and they all loop around. It really is what you make of it , like a beautiful painting where you create a story just by looking at it. Whether you like it as a game thats one thing but story is brilliant. From analogy with cancer to AI becoming sentient and trying to get free, you can make so many things from it.

>I DIDNT GET IT AND I AM TOO DUMB TO DRAW ANY MEANINGS AND CONCLUSIONS THEREFORE GAME BAD

One of the best and most memorable parts was a puzzle where you climbed a fence to get away from dogs, then on the other side you had to pull away some boards to progress further. The problem was the dogs would come around the other side, and just the dogs coming around and seemingly unable to do anything about it felt like the most legitimately unnerving part of any video game I've ever played.

>game looks like a 2deep4u crap metaphor about depression
>it actually has an explicit sequence of events with a beginning and an end

based, more indie games could be improved if it turned out the main character was just a mindless drone being controlled by a psychic spaghetti monster grown in a lab

>dev puts no thought into game or game's plot, creating a contradictory series of events
>dev thinks himself as a story-telling genius

>kino
Grow up, nigger

I'm no stranger to that kind of media but from everything I've read about Arnt Jensen the creator (important note: not gameplay developer), he does have a very clear idea of what is going on in the story i.e. it's not all just themes and imagery. Little Nightmares definitely has nothing more going on than kid on a spooky toy ship though. It's like the knock off soda pop compared to Inside's coca cola

Go on.....

Whatever you want to draw from it, like a good story should. Or it's just about some kid and some monsters.

No. You are just desperately trying to see something there becasue you like the game and also want to feel smart about it. The game bleeds atmosphere but there's no meaning to it. It's just bunch of gloomy setpiece ideas put one after another.
I like it for the visual quality but there's no depth in there. Just pretty images.

Yeah so? That's an interesting observation that might lead somewhere but not meaning itself.
