no lol

yes in the year 2280

Nope, it wont.
But it did manage to carve itself a piece of the market by being a bunch of assholes and expanding exclusivity on PC.
The one positive of this shit, is that Tim pays copies for everyone for the games on his store. So the high seas are a 100% fine way to get these games.

No but I appreciate the moral excuse for piracy

no
the beauty of pc, in reality, is that there isn't any reason why you can't have both Epic and Steam (I mean, I don't but that's a choice)
so getting games on Epic or Steam doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get games on the other
it's kind of like piracy where a pirated game doesn't exactly indicate a lost sale

This, it's just another gog or other pc purchase marketplace, it won't replace steam anytime soon

This is a shill thread designed to promote brand visibility for Epic, you can tell because all of these threads have the Epic logo front and centre every time

lol megacope. you guys realize that it has managed to cause such an uproar in only a couple of years. epic store is not targeting you, it's targeting young people. out of nowhere a Fortnite player all of a sudden has 100 free games. even if they get bored of Fortnite they will still stay with Epic.

Okay, but steam still makes billions sitting on their ass.

No. Why would you even think that it would?

How many of the kids playing Fortnite do you think are playing on PC and also aware that the free games even existed and then bothered to claim them

Steam is doing a fine job of killing itself

Not if they keep offering the same shitty "free" games that are nothing more than rehashed and samplers meant to sell DLC. I'd rather trust GabeN the sellout than the CCCP datamining operation.

Hopefully

even if that's true, there's no reason why they won't buy other games off steam
the games may be exclusive, but the platform is not
at the end of the day, it's all pc

What is there to cope with lol?
people recognize Epic carved their space even if it is trash.
But will it kill Steam?
Hell no haha.

Textbook definition of cope right here.

Darn I can't wait

>steam still makes billions
so does gatcha. it's all about that sweet mtx money. for gabe it's artifact> any other game sold on steam.

Epic lacks a lot of features steam has as well as an overall style. Also why the fuck is the price difference of games between steam and epic so massive???

tim whiney

What platform are you playing on?

the epic store version

>That's Tim paying for your copy
lol i love this shit. for years pcfags talked big but turns out you were the biggest brand loyalists of all time.

I don't even know what brand you think I'm being loyal to

I mean...what do you want me to say user? EGS is a death sentence.

I think he means steam. Also more people would use epic if it:
A. had cloud saving
B. Didn't have that dumbass, way to common bug/error that would prevent you from even using the store

>no community forums
>no shopping cart
>no regional pricing
>no option to play offline
>no cheevos (not that important but still)
>no modding support
>most of their users are fortnite players or get the shit they gave for free
>chinese spyware
Yeah, I don't think so.

No remote play is a big one for me. I hope that bag of money was worth it though because I don’t see THPS doing well on PC.
