Pokemon is literally made for children. Most Nintendo games are. In Japan if you were to talk to the average person about Pokemon they would think you're a fucking weirdo. This is why the games have been getting increasingly flash-over-substance with more cartoony Pokemon designs. The sooner you accept this the better your life will be.
