Adding new scrolls for the DLC 1 enemies/bosses is nice, I didn't expect them to do that until the next DLC. Also a lot of really nice bug fixes and nice little changes, though overall not much that will really set the world on fire.

The change just makes it step forward much further. Does make it more consistent without messing with previous spacings which is good and it helps for closing gaps, which splitstaff creates all the time and has few decent options for approaching otherwise.

yeah unfortunately were going to have wait for dlc 2 for substantial content. hopefully they will release it in October.

Have inheritable attack +21 and untouched omnyo 5% on without maxing famialarity always been a thing or have I just gotten lucky thanks to the patch?

What's the name of the Splitstaff skill that makes your staff do a DB Power Pole Extend and which boss drops it? Benkei?

Also I just platinumed the game and now I don't know what the fuck to do until the next DLC.

Roar Power, and yes Benkei drops it. It's almost essential for the weapon as it has next to no other similar options and is an extremely strong skill.
Now you start embracing the stylish action side of things, try lowering the level of your weapons and see how deep the combat really goes.

Any time you fight him he can drop it, whether it's the main mission, a sidemission or a scroll, either alone or in co-op. That goes for everything else too.

I wish dark realm didn't look so awful. I mean that's really the only "hindrance" it brings to gameplay: being hard on the eyes.
