Well, the one on the left includes Lost Levels, which is an expansion on SMB1.
The one on the right doesn't include the DS version of SMB64, which could have been cool as it's "Lost Levels" equivalent.

Sunshine and Galaxy are ports. There is no way they’re emulated. Even dolphin can’t emulate Sunshine properly. Every time somebody brings this up it really triggers the PC folks. “Oh no no no, it’s perfect”. No it isn’t:

All dolphin games have sound popping issues and shader caching stutters too and dozens of autistic settings that need to be adjusted on an individual per-game basis.

I completely agree with you. The improved graphics is just a meme, however, Mario 3 on the All-Stars version is the superior version just for the ability to save. That's what I'm going into 3D All Stars with, since I'd rather have older games retain their old looks then what Spyro did.

Did you actually read the article? Every issue listed can be solved by using Vulkan backend and Synchronize GPU Thread. Wow, I had to read an article and change two settings. So difficult. I guarantee this halfassed port will have more issues than emulating the original in Dolphin.
