Is Avengers really this dead at launch? Haven't seen a thread for it since the beta and I was wondering what's Zig Forums opinion on the final product. Then again, I might have just checked it when the threads happened to be dead.
Is Avengers really this dead at launch...
literal retard shit
That cap outfit looks 10 times better than the default one
Boring piece of shit.
Somehow less inspired that the batman games and they made the same game 3 times.
Its a game that does everything okay but nothing great. Definition of lukewarm, uninspired trash. It'll be forgotten in a month.
When has Zig Forums ever had actual discussions for a AAA game? Go to /vg/.
Accurate
It'll be forgotten... until they add Ant Man.
It's a 'live service' game with cosmetic micro transactions so naturally Zig Forums hates it..
I just finished the campaign and it was fun as shit, I'm pretty excited to farm some levels
I've played like 6 hours today what do you want from me
Why is cap a manlet
I like the game too, but "I'm excited to farm some levels" is something I've never said in any game I've played. I'm more excited for some fucking endgame stuff like the Wakanda raid. You know, content.
Zig Forums only plays 10/10 games because their taste in videogames is their personality
also MUA3 fanboys keep shitting up the threads even though the depth in a single hero in avengers is far exceeds those in MUA3
Having played both the only thing MUA3 had going for it was it's looks, and it's the only thing people bring up about it for a reason. That being said, this game could've definitely improved with a more comic book inspired style.
Well shit, I might have to get it once its cheap
I want to fuck Kamala but only her loli form from the first level
asset secured
get it?
Looks and roster even at launch was way better. Not including any X-men even though they have the rights to them now in the new game is such a fuck up.
they sponsored a lot of top streamers and you can see in their faces that its shit
its really slow and uninspired
compared to Spiderman, its absolutely garbo
Well I really like progress, I want to see where some of these skill trees take me then I'll worry about gearing around it and so on and so forth.
Marvel's been trying to phase out mutants and X-men for years, the inhumans are literally just mutants. So it doesn't surprise me that even with the rights to x-men, that kinda mentality hasn't gone away or people didn't get the memo.
>Nintendo and Koei got the Xmen front and center in their game
>this was because they told them Japan likes Wolverine more than Iron Man
This
Japan fucking loves X-men. The animated series had an entirely unique opening over there.
I liked the gameplay of Cyclops and Doom in MUA 3, but I agree I wish there was more combat depth across the board in mua3. Kind of a disapointment. It's a good jumping off point for MUA4 though, and maybe they can give the combat more depth.
And maybe put it on a system where the framerate doesn't drop constantly.
It's a licensed cash in game by a studio whose last games were also pretty mediocre, were you expecting it to be good or something?
Is cap fun?
Yes.
Human Revolution was alright
Real talk, the game probably wouldn't exist without Nintendo.
This game’s launch reminds me of Destiny for some reason.
Human Revolution was made by Eidos Montreal who aren't the main developers, Crystal Dynamics is.
>capeshit
Given the history with Marvel games unrelated to Capcom fighters or Spider-Man being pretty mediocre, this one isn't too bad.
Explain how he is fun.
It's about right. There is such a thing as too AAA.
The scene with Kamala and Bruce in the van was cute :3
You throw a shield around and smash shit as you'd expect Cap to do. I can't really put it into words.
who cares
spider man is exclusive to PS4
Destiny had a lot more hype, lol
Yeah, I still can't get over how well they nailed Wolverine's suit tbqh
Zig Forums is either "Fuck this. I'll never get this trash" or "Meh, I'll wait 6 months to a year. see if it improves/gets cheaper"
All the outfits were cool in ultimate alliance 3.
I don’t even like iron man but I put him in my squad because his armor looked awesome in that game.
It's not a wrong stance to have, honestly.
I'm not a cap fan at all but he's incredibly fun once you get some skills. Just look at this webm it's not even all of the things you can do with him
I don't recommend any one buy any GaaS game at launch unless they really want to experience the bugs and lack of content first hand.
PCkeks like it.
This. I bought the game and shit like hero cards are broken so it's definitely worth waiting on.
>bugs
As fun as this game is, it’s still got a lot of bugs that’s for sure. Bald Kamala and no 4 player matchmaking comes to mind.
I'm surprised this game has so many positive reviews + players considering the response to the beta was so negative. Shame about the matchmaking, reminds of when MHW came to PC and multiplayer didn't work for like an entire month
Huh. That was at very positive yesterday.
well isn't that the thing? if they didn't attach the brand to it it would just seem like weird AAA shovelware
I can't help but feel like I put wolverine in for similar reasons. I mean I like wolverine, but there are others I would have chosen over him more often if I didn't like his suit so much.
I mean Destiny had the Bungie brand behind it and that's incredibly generic yet successful.
I am probably going to get this once the price goes down just to play as Cap. Thanks.
Great game to just chill out and play with friends online.
Almost reminds me of a musou but with more depth.
Campaign is fun
But fuck did they screw up the loot system
Instead of doing Destiny/Diablo style loot they should've gone more Monster Hunter/crafting gear and upgrades
And then made those visible cosmetics as well.
Like how an enemy can drop a ribcage and how The Hulk can just swap out ribcages is beyond me.
>three supervillains
it's shit
Reminds me of Marvel Heroes, but without the fan service and better visuals.
