>it's another fucking Barclay episode

Wrong board.
barclay is infinitely better than wesley.
also, the cytherians episode wasnt half bad, the beginning was atrocious, but it wrapped up nicely

How did he make it through Starfleet academy?

>a bad character from the 90's is a masterwork compared to the new shit

>Computer, start program Barclay 24
>Commencing giantess Deanna Troi unbirthing simulation
>Disable safety protocols

theres some genuine retards that make it through the academy, even in TNG. barclay has spaghetti constantly falling out of his pockets, but hes somewhat competent at his post

It blows my mind that the guy who made Family Guy managed to make a better Star Trek than anything made since JJ got his filthy hands on the franchise.

That's not saying much

Pray to the Koala that your thread will be moved and not deleted.

Better than Loxwanna.

What video games would Broccoli play today?

>Barclay episode
That happens to take place in ................... A FUCKING HOLODECK

Animal Crossing if he'd ever stop playing Second Life.

true fan vs fags that only know star wars

He did NOTHING wrong and his death was unneeded. How was DS9 so fucking good yet had probably one of the worst finales of all time?

IIRC he had a really good record at Star Fleet and it was only when he got in the Enterprise that he started having anxiety issues

Barclay was fucking based.
Why couldn't we get a Holodeck episode where everyone is just having fun, instead of the shit always malfunctioning? I wanted a fucking Alamo episode.

>FUCKING HOLODECK
the best kind of holodeck

ITT: vainglorious drunkard cardie egomanics whining about getting what was coming to them.

>How was DS9 so fucking good yet had probably one of the worst finales of all time?
Because it had to focus on the least interesting aspect of DS9. Did anyone really care about the Wormhole Aliens or the Black Jesus shit?

STO obviously. Admiral Barclay gets all the girls.

Barclay is unironically a great engineer. He is highly skilled and competent at his job.

His only flaw is that he lacks interpersonal skills. Being personable is NOT required for his job as an engineer, although his anxiety at times is so extreme it has slightly reduced his collaborative abilities, as shown when he struggled to give a presentation to other engineers in one scene.

Overall though, his social awkwardness would not be a serious problem for performing his job so there is no issue with passing Starfleet. He probably won't even get promoted to command, though.

Except Damar dying is what sparked the cardassian rebellions. He became a martyr.
DS9 had the best ending because it was a very none Star Trek ending. It was sad and worked will with the darker tone of the show.

>Wormhole Aliens or the Black Jesus shit?
Not at all. They also butchered Gul Dakat in the last season too. They should have just focused on the civil war and had the finale be a truce between the two sectors somehow. Call it an uneasy truce. Much better than the crap we got.

>a bad character from the 90's is a masterwork compared to the new shit
Barclay is a fantastic character though

>its a kira talking about muh peopul episode
always the weakest episodes and her romance with odo actively hurt his character.

His death was bittersweet. After everything he'd done he was on his way of redemption, leading a small band towards the Dominion headquarters, odds massively against them. His last thoughts while dying were probably of his failure to finish the one thing in his life that he did right.

The ending wasn't good regarding the fucking space magic shit and the death of the Nigger.

Great, they are some of the best.

That's supposed to be Star Trek?
