Bump just wanted to know
no
Yeah. The level design is mediocre but that's the only flaw really.
Be advised that the first DLC is a massive difficulty spike.
I love it but I'd be the first to admit it isn't for everyone.
Depends.
If you're a Dark Souls fan, no.
If you're a Demon's Souls fan, no.
If you're a Bloodborne fan, no.
If you're a Sekiro fan, no.
If you find Diablo loot and a game being designed around said Diablo loot a dealbreaker, no.
If you dislike when a game reuses its own content, no.
Otherwise, only if you're an action RPG fan.
Yeah
Ever wanted to get into Diablo like looting RPG but don't wanna fall asleep? Then it's worth trying out.
Pretty cool action game. The diablo loot doesn't matter until NG+.
Healing items not being replenishable at checkpoints ruined the game.
How about the enemy variety of 4-5 over and over repeating in every level?
but they are
Absolutely OP, it aged well
>Healing items not being replenishable at checkpoints ruined the game.
They are though, up to 8. Depending on the number of Kodama you've collected in an area the amount replenished increases, then it tops off the remainder from your stockpile.
If you're dropping off junk items at shrines and keeping an eye out for Kodama from the beginning you'll ALWAYS have 8 elixirs replenished every time.
NioH has some of the best combat in any video game series. The level design is kind of whatever, but the sequel's is better in that regard. I thought I would hate the Diablo style loot, but I ended up enjoying it a lot.
It's like Dark Souls but much, much worse.
>doesn't select healer's blessing
LMAO at your poor decisions
Bro donate shit at the shrine bro, nioh 1 is super generous if you donate loot.
2 even let's you buy at the shrine with divine rice
You have to farm them first.
Only if you want the maximum. There's a baseline of 3 replenished at shrines, with up to 4 extra (iirc) based on the amount of Kodama in the area. These will replenish even if you have 0 in the stockpile
Yo what's the deal with these scrolls in nh+? Had to fight the red eye nigga after a wave of mooks shit was fucking hard.
>tfw having to cheese the final boss with the tonfas cause low stance tree gives you a fuckton of iframes.
endgame stuff for minmaxing
you get extra stats and thats it
Ignore every post comparing it to a Soulslike. Played properly the game is more like Devil May Cry with a Diablo loot system. It just takes the experience system and fog doors from a Souls game. It's not even one big interconnected world, it's level/mission based with a narrative and cutscenes.
The combat is the best I've ever seen in an Action RPG with stance/weapon swapping being an integral part of a full combo.
Yes. It's fun.
I like Dark Souls and Sekiro and I think Nioh is fun.
It's easily one of the worst Soulsborne clones in the market, OP.
If you're that desperate just play Mortal Shell
Ni-oh is literally a Soulslike.
You say it isn't because Soulsborne fans don't like the game so you try to sell it to a different audience or to sell it differently.
Absolutely. But at this point you can safely just skip to Nioh 2.
>Devil May Cry
It actually plays more like um, I don't know, Ninja Gaiden? Team Ninja made bot NG and Nioh, retard.
If your bar for Soulslike is "collect xp, bonfires, and hard bosses through fog doors" then sure, but it stands alone on literally every other front.
>No retard it's not like this character action game it's another character action game
Your simple mind literally does not have the faculties to understand comparisons that aren't 1:1, does it. Holy shit.
It's barely soulslike. You souls fans have some serious brain damage.
Its easily one of the best soulsborne clones. More loot. Better combat. Jap themed if you into samurai and demons.
Why are DMCucks always so pretentious?
any user feeling generous to hook a poor user up with the dlc? season pass is on sale rn for nioh2
Haven't played any DMC in over a decade, seethe over the irrelevance of Ninja Gaiden harder.
Nioh adds some neat mechanics to the formula but at the end of the day it plays almost exactly the same way as a Souls game.
Honestly, I don't get why there's so much pushback here to comparing it to a Souls game when the similarities are obvious to anyone with eyes.
Because soulsborne fans are cringe.
I mean this with as much respect as can be mustered on an anonymous image board, but I really don't think you've played it. Certainly not past the first two levels at the very least.
