This is the best thing to come out of 2020, I’m looking forward to playing these classics again.

No, I'm not buying it for just a measly bunch of overplayed Mario games that have already gone stale. If anything, Crash and Spyro remakes have already topped the bar on how to bring back a trilogy in a fresh new way that doesn't feel stale.

pre ordered a hard copy from gamestop for 5 bucks. Physical copy will last longer than the limited digital. And if they run out of stock or it is absolute shit i am only out 5 bucks
I missed out on Sunshine and Galaxy so I'm excited for these games. What I don't understand is why the limited availability, it just doesn't make sense to me. I won't be preordering because I honestly can't afford games right now, and 60$ is a bit steep of a price. Also, the digital release sounds like pure nonsense, you can't redownload the game except if you have archived it. So it'll have to be physical or nothing, though I'm not too sure if I'll be able to get my hands on a copy.

Crash and especially Spyro were dead in the mainstream eye before those releases, they *needed* to go all out.
I love Crash but it's funny when people bring up Spyro because none of those games are as good as a single 3D Mario let alone three of them.
The eShop says that you'll only be able to redownload archived software through Nintendo Online. Which is absolutely preposterous to me, I would never buy the digital copy if these are the conditions.
Shit man......i mean Nintendo launches 3D World + Bowsers Fury w/online/faster gameplay, Pikmin 3 dx, ACNH, XCDE and clubhouse games which offer great value and im happy to play them......but then they do a lackluster Mario Collection. Perhaps we're the idiots for expecting all of their releases to be great.

These games had such an impact on me growing up. Mario 64 was my first video game, and it’s my favorite game of all time. When I get it I’ll be playing it in backwards order. I’m excited for another playthrough of all of them before offing myself.

Sunshine and Galaxy look great. I was never able to get either one to look as good on dolphin as it does here. And Galaxy appears to be 60fps, is that confirmed?
