Series X. My PC from 2012 just crapped out. It turns on but won't boot. I've tried all kinds of things. Been reading tech support forums for days. I've reset the CMOS, reseated the parts, etc. etc. Rather than build a whole new PC, I'll just get the Series X. Would have to spend much more on PC to get comparable power anyway. Plus (a) the better version of Game Pass and (b) Red Dead, Ninja Gaiden Black, Banjo-Kazooie, etc. are bonuses.

I'm not gonna ditch my old PC if that's what you're implying. I just don't feel like I wanna spend at least 2000 USD on a new PC when the series X will cost $499.

I might get the Series S in the future considering how it's cheap. If they keep a good stock of them I can see them reducing in price even further. The kind of games I like are on Sony consoles more, so I''ll be going with a PS5 initially but if it does get even cheaper I wouldn't mind picking up a Series X to play some of the Xbox One exclusives I missed alongside the new Fable.
