Their worst moment was "$599" in 2006, following which Xbox took half their market share with their $399 machine. And that was after the PS2, a system with a much stronger library of exclusives than the PS4 has. People happily abandoned Gran Turismo, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, and a whole lot else to get an Xbox, an upstart console brand, because it was cheaper.
