I recently stopped playin it after I realized that riot won't even try to release balanced heroes anymore, they'll just throw in some gigabroken faceroll champ every month

I hadn't played League for 6 or 7 years, I quit in 2011-2012 don't forget exactly. Anyways I let a childhood friend use it over the years and I don't talk much to him, but he didn't change the password.
So after I began uni I met a friend who plays League and he wanted to play together with me so I said why the hell not and installed it, logged in and I was permantly banned. I checked it and he was permabanned for flaming people, not even calling them niggers or faggots or anything like that, just flaming. I really don't understand how people are OK with Riot doing this shit. There is no way to appeal it either and I don't even care.
What shocked me even more though when making a new account is how cancerous it is now compared to before to acquire new champions. Getting that new blue shard currency takes so fucking long and they didn't even change the prices to make it as easy as it was before (which really wasn't easy at all). Seriously, can someone explain to me how Riot is getting away with these bullshit systems and banning?
