HDR looks amazing with this DQHD monitor. At least an hour disappears every time I set up to fly.

Windows 10 is the definition of spyware. When you are installing Windows 10 onto a new computer for the first time it'll automatically select the "Optional diagnostic data" setting. You have to deselect that manually. Most people buy prebuilds though so they are unlikely to go snooping through the computers settings.

There are many softwares available that actively block all connections to Microsoft. Yes. It sucks that Microsoft couldn't have the courtesy to give us that option by default. People are giving Microsoft sheckels for their product so Microsoft in turn sees no reason to change. Information is money.
