I hate how the game accelerates rapidly after Darkwood cause it just feels like the story realized it needs to rapidly get to the end and just quickly speeds through all the major plot points without any downtime really between them. Like you reach Oakwood and you're immediately off to go face Twinblade, you reach Knothole Glade and you immediately have to go kill the White Balverine and then almost immediately after that face the Arena. The only time the game feels like it slows back down again is around Lychfield and the Prison Section of the main story and then most of TLC since they limited themselves to a smaller area.

It is meta, but the things that were strong were like OVERLY strong, so it's pretty intuitive for either a child or an adult to figure out that 2h and large aoe made the game way too easy

Nuke spells are pretty weak actually. They take too long to cast and the dmg isn't that great after you reach half the game. You can oneshot 4 or 5 enemies with Skorm's Bow way before the spell finishes casting. They only seem OP for noobs.
