Not that I believe OP, but that is a delay not a cancellation. That post has no bearing on the games presence in a Direct. There was just a major announcement yesterday, retard. If a Direct was imminent they would have saved Hyrule Warriors. Not to mention the stuff in the Mario mini and the stuff in the partner showcases. The last partner showcase even said they were going to be more this year. There is 0% chance of a full Direct coming out of nowhere this year. Wait for early next year and we'll get a big Direct with all the stuff that would have been at E3.

Why is that a retarded idea? The dock itself already augments the switch's power and its been proven with the dock being able to get to 1080p while without the dock it gets to about 720p. Just making a more powerful dock could save on costs for parts and it gives them a chance to iron out the flaws with the first dock. Instead of manufacturing entirely new switch consoles and gouging your consumer base you can sell a more modestly priced piece of hardware. It sells to both people with Switch consoles and people without. It's a great strategy.

I think it's actually a smart move, create a base station that boosts switch games, rather than having it in the switch itself. That's because 4k is totally useless on a 6-inch screen. If the hardware to boost to 4k were just in the base dock then battery consumption and heat wouldn't be an issue. My only concern here is that most games would need to be designed around this.. It'll be like the new 3DS with a super small number of games that actually need the additional hardware. But I can imagine Nintendo releasing patches for their big titles, especially Smash and Kart
