i love the part where you are going across the really thin beams on the ceiling, having to fight the dudes on there. it really made it feel like you were infiltrating a divine place
Anyone actually live in those buildings or is it all an illusion?
That was rough
I think everything was an illusion thanks to Gywndelin. So probably not.
Soul
the buildings are real but most of the enemies are an illusion
Home
I just got DS3.
Never played 1 or 2, and probably won't ever.
wasted potential
...
1 is more fun in my opinion. I recommend it when it is on sale.
Bad. I started with 3 but 1 and 2 are amazing games.
Best area in the game tho
Fuck the gank squads.
I just want competent summons to help with O&S.
O&S are easy, user. Do you really need help with it?
Yeah
>kill smough first because I want Ornstein's weapon, armor and ring
>giga nigger Ornstein rapes Solaire and 2shots me
t-thanks
PTDE or Remastered?
1 is good, 2 is a shitty Bloodborne beta test, 3 feels soulless and unnecessary.
This is an objectively correct take.
Killing Smough first was so fucking rough, especially on a first playthrough
Demon's Souls is good, Dark Souls is a rehash that refined the systems heavily but lacked in quality content, Dark Souls 2 was the result of incompetent game direction with too many designers left to their own devices and coders targeting the wrong platform, Dark Souls 3 was a contractural obligation to Scamco that From managed to turn into the most artistic middle finger in history
What the fuck are you talking about you complete retard? Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2 are nothing alike.
it's not my first playthrough, but bigstein is fucking insane regardless
3tards are so deluded.
I didn't say 3 was good you stupid fuckwit. I said it was the most artfully done way of flipping the bird. It's still flipping everyone the bird though.
I fought them without using a summon, so I had more problems dealing with the 2v1 than the big bad wolfenstein
Why? I haven't played it yet. Care to develop your thesis?
>has never played Dark Souls 2
it's a huge fuck you to everyone who wanted a "proper sequel" to dark souls 1 and the entire thing ends with you fighting a literal who in the middle of nowhere
BB>DS3>DS2>DS1>DeSu
Each installment got more kino
>being proud of this
Enjoy playing like 70% of the game with starter gear until you finally get some cool armour and weapons because its basically a straight hallway. Also hope you don't like invading, it's not viable in 3 unless you use a meta build and spam R1 because you will always be put against at least 2 dudes, possibly 3 and even sometimes 4 or more.
Invading RC with my MLGS 60 INT SL90 build was true suffering, magic is fucking garbage and you get stunlocked before you can swing.
>ds2
>above of anything
>bb
>above it's final release
you are wrong in many levels
>"It's a middle finger game"
>"How?"
>"Because it's a huge 'fuck you' game XD"
Neat how you can't actually justify your opinion with an argument so you just repeat the same opinion with different words
Your English is also wrong on many levels.
>DS2 BAD LOL
>the entire thing ends with you fighting a literal who in the middle of nowhere
Thematically speaking it fits with the series. The only people who didn’t like Gael are underage faggots who wanted le epic fight against all le epic serpents.
I mean, Solaire is enough, but he's kinda retarded and usually dies before either O or S. He just softens them up a bit.
PTDE
I've cleared them with just Solaire, but competent summons would be nice once in a while. Instead it's just gankers in that big room at the boss door...
It's a giant middle finger because the ending that seems like the equivalent of linking the fire (the more popular DS1 ending) is the one where you side with a faction who basically worships the cycle of flame and wants to keep it going endlessly, constantly places artifacts and objects pertaining to the cycles everywhere, basically a very transparent allegory for Dark Souls 1 nostalgiababs. Then you get the ending and link the flame and it does literally nothing and the world is still fucked because the cycle has been going on for too long that the flame is completely burnt out and even tossing half a dozen overpowered souls on it does nothing to forestall the apocalypse.
Killing Smough first is way easier though, all of Ornstein's attacks are easily dodged even with a midroll, whereas your positioning really matters against Super Smough since his zap fart and charge attacks can frametrap you if you're in the wrong spot. Super Smough is definitely easier if you're a pussy faggot who played with heavy armor and a greatshield though.
>Then you get the ending and link the flame and it does literally nothing and the world is still fucked because the cycle has been going on for too long that the flame is completely burnt out and even tossing half a dozen overpowered souls on it does nothing to forestall the apocalypse.
How is this a fuck you? It fits the tone and theme of not only DS3 but DS1, which already said that nothing can prevent the first flame from eventually fading.
Or maybe they just wanted that ending because they thought it was a cool idea? You're glossing over the fact that DS1 and 2 references permeate 3 as well, so they can't be trying that hard to shit on fans.
>commonly accepted since 2011 that ornstein first is easier
>NO YOURE A FAGGOT WHO PLAYS LIKE THIS I KNOW BECAUSE I SAID SO
Take. Meds.
It's the context of the references that makes it. DS1 and 2 are full of transparent references or outright lifted characters from Demon's Souls (and DS1 in the case of DS2), DS3 has these as well, but many of its references are portrayed as people desperately clinging to the past in an age that's dying. It's a very obvious metaphor for how fed up From is rehashing Demon's Souls for the third fucking time
It's commonly accepted that Ornstein first is easier because the majority of players played with heavy armor and greatshields on their first playthrough. Or magic, in which case both are trivial but Smough is a slightly bigger target (and I believe weaker to magic)
>brooo it’s totally obviously definitely a metaphor for (random bullshit i read between the lines because i want to force a narrative)
Yeah nah
>the majority of players played this way on first playthrough because they just did okay i just know
Actually I used the warrior armour because it looks cool and is light with a halberd and longsword.
Its almost like linking the fire again is objectively the worst thing to do and will only repeat the cycle. Almost like they hinted at something with the painter and giving her the dark soul at the very very end, the cummulated human essence, to paint a new world.
