Fuck off, ESL shill.
>Pay $15/m for 24 months for this $1 Game Pass and you get your console for only $240! It's basically free!
they could give it away for free and I still wouldn't take the new xbox
Oh, so that's how they justify selling a Series S that is supposed to cost $299 for -
36 x 25 = $900 dollaridoos
They just throw in Game Pass in there
36 * 15 = $540 = that covers Game Pass
Xbox One S = $299
You're looking at maybe only a $60 dollar saving.
But of course Americans are fucking retards that buy everything on a payment plan, so enjoy the anal assraping I guess.
Uh? 25 *24 is $600 with 20% interest on late fees, you might as well build a pc?
I understand how this works, but what if I just decide not to pay my bill one month, are they going to forcibly come to my house and repossess my Xbox?
>tfw this shit isnt available in your country
>36
it's 2 years, not 3.
I mean, it's a hit on your credit. If you do anything important in life having low credit can fuck you hard.
I know you're basically just working backwards from your personal beliefs, but this is meant for people that aren't ready to drop the full price at launch.
And given the current circumstances, it's smart for MS to give the option.
Personally I would just buy the full thing at once, but that's me.
they remote brick it, like phones. That's the future.
and kill your dog.
We're living in the glorious digital age. It's very possible they'll simply disable your Xbox remotely if you connected it to the internet. Hope you enjoy your new paperweight.
That would unironically be good if I didn't already have a PC
>if you connected it to the internet
you wouldn't even be able not to, it'll have a permanently required online presence to do anything as long as your account is a "payment plan account".
You know what happens when you miss a payment on your car payments? your credit gets wrecked and bad credit can take years to build back up.
Why risk it for an xbox, just pay it or return it.
Don't think scamming them is even remotely worth it.
no dumbass, they will close the case and sell your "debt" to a third party that will harrass you for the rest of your life if you intend to use a credit score. imagine fucking up your future finances for a childrens toy
>I understand how this works
No, you clearly don't
Let me know when it has exclusives worth owning.
Thank you merchant, you are my greatest ally
Because OP is a fucking retard, here's an image that actually explains this shit in detail with the numbers crunched.
If you have faith that the next 2 years of XBOX will yield games worth playing, it may very well be worth it. However, as it goes, nothing is free, you'll still end up paying for it in the long run, etc.
This is just a hypothetical scenario, I planned on just buying my Series X outright. I was just thinking about how common something like this might be
No disc drive? No thanks.
But I already have a good PC.
Cope
OI YOU GOT A LOICENSE FOR THAT THERE X BOAX?
I'm not the one who has to cope with ANOTHER fucking near mandatory subscription.
Did you get your phone for $1000 new? Or did you get it with a phone plan through your Service Provider.
If you didn't buy it new, then shut the fuck up because you missed the point.
>double negative
And no, it's not an amazing deal. Monthly payments dont magically mean you're paying less. Amerikeks cant into Math or English
Yes, most adults know what a loan is you fucking retard
36 * 24 = $600
With probably interest on top.
"Incredible value" is debatable. If you only wanted the One S, you are paying double the retail price. If you had no need for Game Pass for 2 years, it basically forces you to pay for that too.
24 * 15 = $360
Xbox One S = $299
You're saving maybe $59, and MS will probably still make off like a bandit in the end.
it is unfortunately common for retards to give themselves horrible credit forever by outright refusing to pay their bills
Please come back in this thread when you buy a car new at full price without payment plan, or a phone, or a house.
None of those are about saving, it's about getting the things you want now without paying the full price upfront.
FPS players are better on xbox.
>Please come back in this thread when you buy a car new at full price without payment plan, or a phone, or a house.
Literally everyone NOT from America can do that and they do. But go on, keep justifying your monthly debt traps while deluding yourself that you're making a killing
>bro you need credit, it's so important for an adult you cannot function without it
>hello I'd like to buy a $23,000 car
>but sir you have no credit
>well I'll give you $10,000 now then and pay monthly after that
>hm ok
credit is for people who live day to day with their paychecks aka anyone in LA and NYC
>Game pass ultimate for 2 years is $600 if it's $25 a month
>$360 at $15 a month
That is not fucking free. Consolefags cannot do math.
>If you do anything important in life having low credit can fuck you hard
It's sad that we've gotten to this point. You almost can't even save up for stuff anymore because everything so damn expensive.
what this essentially means is that owning the console is a maximum deficit of $60, and it's only a deficit if you don't want to stay on gamepass afterward
if you own the console, you'll be able to sell it for at least $100 when you're done with it, or more if you have the X, so even if you plan to only have it for 2 years it's better to own
That Series S will no longer retail for $299 two years down the line, more like $199 or $150 even.
I doubt many people have the financial power to negotiate like that for a house
the interest rate is decided based on your credit, user
are you planning on paying 30% interest?
>Living paycheck to paycheck
>Can only afford 1 game a week.
>$60 per week
>$240 a month not including tax.
>or spend $240 a year playing as many games as I want every day after work.
I'm not a collector. I usually play a game once and very rarely touch it again. The exceptions don't outweight that a massive list of games for me are one and done, so a sub is way more of a better deal then buying a game, beating it, then having to deal with Gamestop cause I don't want to collect shit I don't intend to ever use again.
In this thread, a shit load of zoomers still on their parents phone plans who don’t know how this shit works
he forgot the part you have to have a good credit score and a job.
so you agree with me that you could sell yours off for $100 down the line, like i said
Payment plan is a scam but I gotta hand it to Microsoft, they're gonna assrape those Amerifat mongols with surgical precision in their homeland.
Darksydephil is exactly the kind of sucker low IQ cretin they're targeting with this scheme, and there's probably millions of these sub-70 IQ morons out there in burger land -
lol he thinks the Xbox/PS5 are 'next-gen'. They're basically current-gen 1.25
Yes, I am just further highlighting how this payment plan is a literal scam.
If you're living paycheck to paycheck, maybe you should focus more on saving and NOT living paycheck to paycheck instead of burning $60 on shit you can live without, but that's not how you roll, is it? Just another one of those glorious american virtues: spending money you dont have on things you dont need
>without paying the full price upfront.
If you are in the situation where you can't fork over $299 the last thing you should do is play video games
>Have enough money to buy car
>interest rate on auto loan is 1-2%
>return on investments are better than 2%
Just because you can outright purchase something, doesn't mean it is financially the better decision.
Yeah, I don’t get it. The price point for both isn’t even that high.
I just pay $5 a month to get all the game pass games on pc, and honestly the only thing keeping it from being an absolute fucking steal is the microsoft storefront sucking all the dicks.
>Pay for 24months of game pass
>Can play all the games that matters in 2 months
So why do you pay for 22months again?
I'm living pay check to pay check cause half my pay goes into an account I don't touch and the other half is food, bills and entertainment. No idea why I'm defending myself but whatever.
I can.
It's not a PS5 and has no support from japanese devs like Arcsys. Therefore, it is a bad deal for fighting game fans since Xbox is locked out of half the genre.
that was a perfectly correct sentence, the fuck are you talking about.
