I liked the original game, should I buy this one? I'm a PC player if that matters.

Have not heard a good thing yet even outside of the complaints about the main character being voiced and not wearing gloves to make sure you know its a POC.
>and not wearing gloves to make sure you know its a POC
lol really?
Yes.
When it’s done sure. Its enough like the first one you should get some enjoyment out of it. I’m not sure how good the story is going to be when it’s done but the exploration part is still pretty decent. Less lonely and a bit smaller play area tho.
Not sure, it seems to be another case of developers completely missing the point and not knowing what made the first game so good in the first place, at least from what I've seen and read online, haven't actually played Below Zero
Daily reminder the 3U had way better underwater monsters and combat than subnautica, and people didn't even like that.
Probably worth waiting until it comes out.
>sea truck isn't as good as cyclops and is slow as fuck
>a lot of creatures sound almost the same
>games story keeps getting scrapped and rewritten
>they're trying new things, like the ice worm, but it tends to massively clip through terrain
>marguerite is somehow alive, apparently surviving alien aids by sheer badass attitude
>lonely atmosphere of first game is gone since you interact and talk with living people fairly frequently
No one fucking cares dipshit.
Loneliness is what I liked in the original game FFS. And a smaller area? It's already pretty small...
You remember that giant ocean in the first game?
This game is like a fourth of that size.
You're one helluva smoothbrain if you think people pick up Subnautica for its combat.
Look forward to having your sister looking out for you from space and a gay alien in your head the whole game.
I say this as an MHfag; Kill yourself.
What exactly is the point of this game if it just seems to be the original but smaller? Does it even improve upon anything mechanics-wise?
“A tighter, story focused experience”
Thanks user, I guess I'll pass then.
Ahahahahaha what a fucking waste.
Also Natural Selection 3 fucking never.
>I liked the original game, should I buy this one?
Nah, save your money for your gender reassignment surgery
>fire the sound engineer
>in a game where your only good senses are sound
>double down on SJW trash but remain hypocritical on no-weapons in game design and pozzed character designs/story
lol no just pirate if you're curious but even that's a waste
>giant ocean in the first game
But it's tiny as fuck...
can you recomennd a game like the original but better. I play Subnautica and The long Dark a lot!
Why...? It's cold water this time...wouldn't it make sense to have gloves even more?
>monster fighting game
>exploration game
how are these even comparable?
I've tried over and over to get into Subnautica, since everyone raves over how good it is. I just don't get it.
outer wilds
>not wearing gloves to make sure you know its a POC
I'd sooner believe it's because the devs are too dumb to realize you'd need a proper drysuit to dive in icy water. They made that mistake already in the original Subnautica.
>your seamoth will start to crumble if you go below 200 meters without upgrades
>dude can easily survive it
what the fuck
The Forest
There is no survival in this one. I played it already and loved it.
Too junky looking. Subnautica and The long dark have certain artstyle, The forest looks too bland for me.
that's fair user.
>runs like ass
>looks like ass
>controls like ass
if you don't care about the basebuilding then yeah there isn't much there. the story is meh and the survival aspects of it are irrelevant after the first 15mins, when you've figured out how to get food and water.
I wish they tied depth to vehicle, with no free-diving for kilometers and no magic upgrades.
>Cyclops as a mobile base down to 200m
>seamoth for caves and deeper dives
>P.R.A.W.N. for extreme pressures and temperatures
>Subnautica artstyle
I understand this is a subjective matter of taste, but godamn the aesthetics of the game are so bad. All the tech look like toys.
WHEN WILL IT BE DONE RAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
For real, I searched so long for some kind of equipment that I I thought I needed, because I figured if the Seamoth is gonna be crushed, then I would instantly die if I left went outside at that depth.
Exploration is pretty cool even if the map is quite small
Kinda how it works irl? I mean there's huge problems, like mixed gases and decompression, but your body doesn't really compress up super deep, while an air-filled metal box will. Any air you'll be breathing at a super deep depth will be a bunch of weird shit like argon and no or very little nitrogen since it will be under pressure, butyou're able to survive way deeper than 200m.
Forest looks worse than subnautica
I liked the tech, it's like Apple became an interstellar megacorp.
