Aint Factions followed after Prophecies and those who played from the beggining could play with old characters in new continent? Or was it restricted and you had to create new one? Those campaign/expansions in gw1 systems isnt for brainlets tbqh.. i have complete edition and still waiting when i will be able to play EotN. Im level 12 and suppose have to reach

I miss those old presets they had for PvP-only characters. I used to play a Paladin which was a W/Mo with Healing Hands and Mending.

Yes, you can take your Old Characters to it. There were quests added that took you there.

The level scaling is weird because Prophecies was a lot slower than Factions or Nightfall. You can spend a lot of time and not really get very far.

Pretend all you want, the game might not be perfect but it's in a far better state than launch with significant improvements in each expansion.
I have over a thousand hours in both games and enjoy both for different reasons. I still hope they make the first one F2P just to see the towns full again.

You could send characters from one campaign to another and they enter the story after the tutorial area is finished. Chronologically, the guys in Prophecies save the world from the Lich Lord and then hop on over to Cantha to stop Shiro. A few years later they get the call from Kormir to help her usurp Abaddon.

Additionally you have Eye of the North which is intended for characters which have reached max level, best played after doing the other expansions but also provides heroes which let you customise their skill bars, making them far better than henchmen if you know what you're doing.
The last few updates added a load of postgame stuff for prophecies and factions areas under the names War in Kryra and Winds of Change

By all means, point out how they made an MMO with fuck all content at launch a worse one.

the "content" they came up with was fucking terrible, with horrible writing and futher retcons that turn one of the greatest vidya worlds into shite. the whole first season was so bad they locked everyone out of it permanently, PvP and WvW was turned into a total shitfest, all of the non story PvE content was pointless grind shit, some even timegated. In a game where cosmetic chasing is most of the endgame the game has had hardly any new cosmetics in 8 years, other than cash shop shit which has had consistent releases throughout the games lifespan.

Remember when events like christmas and halloween unlocked 30+ districts?

You'll get absolutely nothing by going straight into the hall of monuments, since the EASIEST things to get are trophies you get for finishing campaigns.

That's why I put "intended for". I think the game gives you a buff which boosts your stats to that of someone at 20 for the purpose of reaching the hall. If you're only at level 10 then you probably wont have anything to add to the hall to transfer into rewards. You have to play through a lot to earn those.
