What am I in for? I really liked World at War.
I’m about to play the campaign
I actually ought to as well, since I'm interested in BO:CW. I got partway through the campaign on Wii but I bought a PS3 copy awhile back at a garage sale and never did anything with it.
Best cod campaign, it stands on it's own.
An interesting story
Mason really is wise[/spoiler
glownigger propaganda about how they did nuffin wrong and anything bad they are accused off was done to save the world.
Numbers
Good stuff unironically
Yeah, this and World at War are a nice pair when it comes to interesting and fun campaign. I couldn't get into Blops2 though.
If we're talking CoD that's actually good, I have to throw in Infinite Warfare as well. It got a terrible reaction on reveal, but the campaign is really good.
>What am I in for?
Mason
Badass campaign.
What?
A story that believes itself to be smarter than it actually is. If you pay any sort of attention whatsoever, the "twist" is blatantly fucking obvious and not pulled off very well. Also, aside from Reznov, the voice actors suck. Mason is sometimes australian, sometimes american. God tier OST, though.
It's fun, a good ride. Brings back memories. Lots of vietnam war movie references.
Actually kino campaign if you ignore the ww2 flashback or any pure reznov mission
Kino.
introduction to one of the best cod characters, also a nice tie-in to waw
>if you ignore the ww2 flashback or any pure reznov mission
Why?
>mw2 was peak cod at just 12 GB
>activision gets scummy with 200 GB mw to hijack hdd space
>nah dude that's just AAA games now deal with it buy a new 1TB hdd get better internet
>stockholm syndrome? never heard of it
Would be like the next counter-strike hitting 100 GB, nothing but filler and manipulation.
On of the best CoD campaigns and certainly my favorite.
Its more of a thriller compared to the war film that it is WaW, but it carries the same brutality.
Also, it has an overall better cast.
Overhyped messy and too cinematic campaign that marked the point where the franchise truly jumped the shark.
I'm the only one that liked the Advanced Warfare campaign.
Are you people mental?
World at War's campaing is good? Blops 1 campaign are good?
What the FUCK is wrong with you people?!
Treyarch is by far the worst of the CoD mines, and those campaings are some of the absolute fucking worst to come out of the franchise. Which considering how shit most CoD games are, is somewhat of an achievement in shittiness.
what's wrong with waw's campaign?
they're kinda cheesy in a bad way and boring
>what's wrong with waw's campaign?
What the fuck isn't? The brown hideous filter over what is supposed to be a fucking coral reef, the insanely cartoony characters, the massive tonal issues, the story schizophrenically jumping all over the place, the by far worst A.I. and gunplay I've ever seen in CoD, bugs and glitches galore, incredibly boring structure, level design not even ATTEMPTING to create an illusion of a real place, massive over-reliance on dull non-interactive setscenes... There is ONE thing the game does well, and that is the fact that soldiers raise their guns when crossing water. That is literally the only thing I can think off that the game does well.
I'm currently playing WWII and my god, it's INSANE how much better that is. Playing the two back to back is almost a surreal experience. WaW is CoD at it's worst. WWII - at least for the first 1/3 I've played so far might be the best.
Great story. Plot is simple but fun action-flick style shit. Cool how Reznov returns from WAW as well.
THE NUMBERS
If you like this one, then play bo2. It's the best conclusion to the trilogy (WAW, BO1, BO2). BO3 and BO4 are barely connected and aren't the same story.
>Great story.
Are we talking about the game where I was supposed to take a breakout from gulag involving a minigun-weilding bad-ass blasting his way and peforming riddiculous jump stunts on a jawa motorcycle with a side-car seriously, right?
Americans really, really are fucking idiots.
The best COD that isn't 2, Big Red One, 3, or WaW
>BO3 and BO4 are barely connected and aren't the same story.
I had no idea those even existed. I jumped off the COD train around MW3 and only heard about AW, WW2 and Ghosts being meh
>VA recast for Cold War
based oldfag
Why are idiots always so keen to reply while actually not saying anything? Do you not realize that you are drawing more attention to the fact that you are unable to construct an argument?
