after they fix a lot of the general jank and world tendency, the bosses will be even easier than they already are in the original, so they'll be forced to copy DS3 and turn the combat into rollspam crap, and make the bosses full of phase 2 and 3 shit with spastic attack patterns

Solaire was fun in DS1, but DS2 and DS3 turned it into such a meme that I always get thrown out of the experience when I see it. It's the equivalent of fortnite emotes being in the game.

I hate how western developers only focus on pretty graphics for screenshots and nothing else aside completely changing the tone for general audience. Meanwhile the original has a lot of details in its animations and physics. They gave all the Demon Souls bosses smiling jack o' lantern faces and slapped random chain and shackles on them to appeal to Blizztards.

There is nothing to fix though. You autists don't realize that the only actual difference besides a smaller moveset is that Demons Souls can climb up ledges instead of jumping over gaps like in Dark Souls. That's the only difference gameplay wise.

Not him but the janky animations. It's a bit hard to grasp if you haven't played the games but in the original the animations were top level SSS class but the remake is some janky mobile shit.

Wander's face in particular, it barely even moves(or blinks) in the remake and when it does it looks bad. In the original it was extremely life like for a PS2 game.

if anyone other than FromSoft tries to fix the jank it'll just end up a mediocre easy mode slog.

The removal of complex animation sets and facial expressions. The addition of greenery everywhere, even areas where it doesn't belong. Atmosphere is less gloomy, looks like a pretty nice day when it's supposed to be wet, dank, and uncomfortable.
These issues are present throughout the entire game.

Sound mixing in general is just off, like the music and voices are too quiet so there's less impact and the entire game seems to be missing the echo of the original which was also present in Ueda's other games. The remake just sounds sterile.
