I didnt know you could assemble a trash can.
>Six
>Score is red
>"""Okay"""
>IGN never gives out anything lower than a four
At this point, they really should just make it a 5 point scale and get it over with.
Someone please explain to me the appeal of capeshit. Even if I were fucking 10 I wouldn't like it, scratch that I DIDN'T like it when I was 10, but now fucking grown ass men lose their shit over MARVEL MARVEL MARVEL SPIDERMAN AVENGERS AHHHHHHHHH!
This is the first time I see a realistic score given by IGN. But I think it should be close to a 5/10 then a 6
>>Score is red
It's always red.
realistically any game that actually works should be at least a 3
That isn't true, they have a lower score than 5 to God Hand.
It should be nothing. The game is paste. AAA paste. Nothing of value or merit.
It's short, easily digested adventure stories with a fun, campy aesthetic. It's like cheesy 80's action movies, or soap operas. It's not good, but people like it anyway.
Honestly probably a little too generous. Outside of AAA visual polish (marred by horribly bland character/environment design) it's as mediocre as games possibly can be, it's a true 5/10.
All of IGN's scores are red. The site's color scheme is white on red. Also their most infamous review ever is a 3/10.
It was cool for a little while, started to burn me out after the first avengers movie. Haven't gone to one of these movies in years, I don't know who even would at this point.
Sony is probably regretting pouring all that money into this one
Someone please explain the appeal of anime to me
Reviews are largely subjective. Scoring on anything more numerically complex than a 5 or even 3 point scale is idiotic, because it invites comparisons as if the topic could actually be quantified with absolute value.
>1: Don't bother, game is either broken trash, or a complete waste of time
>2: Mediocre. Does nothing impressive to set itself apart, but can still be enjoyed on some level
>3: Exemplary. Presentation is impressive in terms of Art direction, or graphical wizardry. Music is catchy and works with the tone of the game. Gameplay is fresh and enjoyable without becoming tedious, monotonous, boring. There is no other pre-existing game that does the same thing, but better.
There. Maybe slot in a 0 for broken/unplayable.
That's it. Review scores should stop there.
it's the same as nintendo really, or videogames in general, or cartoons, or star wars, just people in their 30s clinging for something from their youth as hard as they can, that goes for males or nerds in general
but sometime in the mid 2000's it became cool to be a ''nerd'', I think it's about the time when big bang theory started their run, people now pretend to be nerds to get some sort of online cred or usually girls pretend to be nerds to get onlyfans and patreon money, to seem ''smart'' because liking star wars makes you smart I guess
Even if it had good reviews I wasn't getting it
>nerds only like things because of nostalgia
ask me how I know you're a fake nerd like the rest of them.
did they pour any money into this? you're talking about the spiderman deal? I would beg to differ there, I would say SE gave sony money to have spidey in the game at all
damn deus ex died for a 6
Is IGN finally based?
It was obvious this was going to be shit from the beginning, they missed the peak time of capeshit interest to get the best sales too
if I wasn't exposed to comiccs, vidya, sf stuff when I was a kid I wouldn't give a fuck about them now, sorry, it's all from when you're a kid and it gets stuck in your mind if you're exposed to it
>no one got review copies until the game finally came out
they new the game was painfully mediocre
I saw the ending accidentally on Twitch and thought it was phenomenal. A shame the rest of the game isn't as great.
No, Marvel's Avengers is not better than Imagine Party Babyz.
PlayStation owners also get early access to the beta, exclusive community challenges, ps plus bundles for each hero, and 30 day exclusive access to new costumes, emotes, etc for every post launch character.
Sony definitely thought this game was gonna be big, and tried to steal players away from other platforms.
Losing to that is embarrassing
so now Zig Forums loves ign?
Always have
hay guys look at mine

Just imagine: party babies.
nope, never
not until they aplogize for the rest of their atrocities
What a brainlet. Is your problem the fact that you can't handle more than 3 numbers at once?
There is a reason critic consensus landed on 1-10.
I already did.
Imagine party babyz is a pretty good game for small kids, you've played it, right? You're not shitting on the review just because it's ign, right?
