Most people agree that RE2 is better user, but it's fucking RE2 so no shit. But if you can't see why REmake 2 is based then, well i don't know what to tell you, that's on you.

Why does RE2make get nitpicked to death, but the original RE2 gets a pass for being a dumbed down sequel to RE1 that was intentionally casualized to draw in a bigger audience?

One came out when user was an impressionable 8 year old, the other came out when user was a cynical adult.

Blacktail is better. Smaller inventory footprint, efficiency not mattering as much since it has more rounds in the clip at all times. Competitive in damage until the exclusive, and still pretty high firepower. Faster in all categories and superior handling. Real chads know the Blacktail is better.

I didn't like the first game either but ended up enjoying Resident Evil 4. Considering it's widely regarded as one of the best games of all time it's definitely worth the try at least.

Resident Evil 5 was okay. It's sort of more of the same but with tacked on co-op.

It WAS dumbed down no debating that but it had an excellent story and characters (for RE standards at least), great art direction and camera work, clear direction, focus, passion, and originality. The remake lacks literally all of this. 4 took a different path but succeeded all the same.

That said though, RE2 is better but REmake 2 is in the top 3 RE games and the fastest selling RE game of all time

You'd have to be a complete retard to believe the bolt action is better than the semi auto. Pure DPS alone is absurd compared to the bolt action.

I like the Punisher more than the Blacktail, but the latter is outright better.

Now that I gave it some thought it's not even a competition. Blacktail has better stats period. People bring up the firepower and efficiency of the Red9. If you take both gun's max firepower and max capacity the Blacktail dishes out more damage per clip.

>Blacktail: 35 x 4.5 = 157.5
What this essentially means is that the Blacktail is literally better in every way besides aesthetics and cost (only because its a better gun). Never trust the Red9 enthusiasts again.
