It wasn't that bad, but fuck chapter 13

LR a shit, 13-2 was the better game

No argument, just an opinion :

Yea, it's just funny though. He seems to work on a lot of these "love it or hate it" games that the masses find unpopular.

Where am I?

Don't know about ffxv but messing with time messes with most peoples heads

You might have brain cancer if you liked that game. Go see a doctor right away!

The boss fights were so damn good. The story is complete dog shit, obviously, but the rest of the game is solid. I don’t get the hate.

I'm just glad the story ended on good terms

This game was fucking genius. It was years ahead of its time visually, enabling character customization the likes of which we still haven't seen again. Your own personal tattoos, all kinds of designs and colors on your clothes, hundreds of completely different decals to choose from. You could make your own songs people would hear when you won a PvP match, or the people you killed / arrested heard instead. You could make massive sprays of unbelievable complexity to show off to the whole city in large billboards all over the place. People made business just by creating musical themes for you to listen to, or play for others. As a graphics designer I made several insanely cool portraits and paints for people to show off.

And all this, in a GTA-like cops vs. robbers style PvP gameplay with nonlethal weapon options with epic car chases. I specialized in a small Oceans 13 style MINI that I was able to use to drive into shopping centers and up and down stairs doing impossible maneuvers others couldn't keep up with.

That game was fucking amazing. And reviewers bombed it all over the place. I remember thinking it was pure 10/10, and official, reputable review sites gave it 3/10. It tanked, and went under in less than 2 months. APB Reloaded was released some time after as a cheap money grab where all the best features had been reworked into a stupid p2w structure instead.

The only thing wrong with the game aside from a few balance issues was that the car controls were laggy. But that was something you'd get used to. Such a fucking shame.

I don't get why people hate it. It was good coop game.

I wouldn't say people dislike it per say. They just write it off.
Guess again, I liked it. Most people's criticisms of this game apply to every other FF. But fans pretend they don't. I feel like I am being gaslighted everytime I discuss the series with other people.

I fucking loved XV.

I liked it until the roadtrip part ended. And almost hated it after the time skip, so basically the end

it's one thing to like this game, it's another thing to not understand why it's garbage.
you have a double digit IQ

It's by far the worst kh game in the series
i also broke out in horrendous hives after beating it, so I'll blame that on it too

I honestly thought it was top RE kino.

You need help

"No one did" is too much, but I don't get the backlash against several crowdfunded games. Mighty No 9, Broken Age and Yooka Laylee weren't bad. They weren't excellent either, but they were adequate, okay, I would say even good. They weren't bad, something that is bad to me is like Numale Sky, fucking awful game about shooting rocks to craft inventory slots so you carry more rocks that you shot, but those games were unmabitious by design and that's pretty much what they planned. Gimme money to make a ripoff of Banjo or a point and click game. Also do not understand the backlash against Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, I thought that one was a great game, arguably GOTY and a great mix of SOTN and Aria.

I didn't back any of those games, but I just have this impression that crowdfunded games have brought the TORtanic fags en masse in a way that no matter how good the game is, they'll forever claim the game is bad because they just want to make another boat sink like that meme.

MN9 was atrociously bad
Broken Age was painfully mediocre, when people were expecting more from a lauded developer and money out the ass that they all burned hiring jack black
yooka laylee has a fair share of problems but it's the only one there that doesn't deserve (most) of the hate it gets, mostly because half the hate it gets is people expecting a game from a few indie fucks being ten times bigger and better than frontline titles from nintendo
>bloodstained
other than a few sparse contrarian shitposters here I've never seen any real backlash against it, at most some people saying they liked cotm better for some reason or another

bloodstained's issue is the post-release support and the god awful switch port.
>over a year later and still missing content
>roguelike mode dropped for randomizer because they're too incompetent to get it to work

They made Chapter 13 better after launch. Buffed the ring and made an alternate version where you can just play as Gladio.

I dropped it on the tutorial on my first time playing, it just felt so wrong after playing risen 1, but many years later I tried it again without playing risen 1 beforehand and I absolutely loved it, it's so fucking charming. It's just as good if not better than the first one. I haven't gotten into risen 3 yet for the exact same reason I couldn't get into risen 2. It just feels way too off. Will need to reset my brain and try again.

FF15 had many problems but I still loved every second of it, the brotrip was great and that ending was 10/10
