Oh I didn't know it had less ram. Well that's kind of tough I guess. People are able to jam games onto a Switch so they should be able to work around it. I imagine it'll be pretty annoying for the developers though.

devs bitch and complain about fucking everything. the actual end result isn't anywhere half as bad as the devs make it out to be. ps3 had hard to develop for hardware but the end result was fine for the most part. xbox one had fucking ddr3 ram and devs were complaining about that too but fast forward 7 years and it runs literally every multiplat as well as you'd expect it too. if series s has similar limitations you just temper your expectations. this isn't anywhere near as bad as ps3/xbone one with their basically exotic hardware config. this is just equivalent to a low end system with all the same core fundamental components as xsx/ps5.

nah I was on PS3 without and Xbox and watched as basically every multiplat ran like shit on PS3 compared to 360. it's like they didn't even try.

maybe early gen and with rockstar games, but for the most part (which is what i explicitly said) games were fine. same for xbox one. in fact, xbox one started off shit this gen and actually got better across the gen as devs actually stopped being fucking lazy. early ports for 720p and now you have games which are 900p-1080p and good looking. it was a similar story for ps3. i mentioned rockstar games because gta 4 and rdr1 was ass on ps3 but gta 5 on ps3 was arguably better than the 360 version.
