not op but i win plenty on mouse and keyboard. i've lost a few rounds because of space not registering and not jumping (especially bad on jump showdown) and i have to be a lot more aggressive on hex a gone because i can't bunny hop well for the same reason but it works out decently. controller is definitely easy mode though

Slime Climb, like Door Dash, exists only to remind you that Hell is Other Beans. You can only lose Slime Climb if you're stuck in a Bean Clusterfuck or you're a shitter who gets filtered by a griefer.

Trying to go with the crowd makes it harder because people just get in the way. If you start in a good position, you can get a good lead by jumping off the bouncy thing. If not, it's better to wait for some people to get filtered on the second obstacle so the crowd thins out a little. The slime rising isn't as urgent as some people seem to think it is, and there are almost always fewer qualifiers than the game allows for, so you can afford to wait a little.

The second piston always filtered me until I realized they were both out of sync.

see saw too, although see saw is easier to manage than both. door dash is probably the worst one in terms of getting fucked over by the chucklefuck, team games notwithstanding. block party can be too, if there are too many beans in the end where faggots just start pushing and it's sorta rng whether you get pushed in a wall or not. staying in front doesn't guarantee anything and staying in the back means you probably don't get pushed but some bean might get knocked over and push you still

Eh, those tricks are usually pretty "free". You take a shot at the bouncepad (Two if you were there early but still got BEANED), then take the regular path. There's no really good trick on the second pushers, you can jump from the first hole but both paths don't let your escape from the bumblefuck if you're in it. After that, the separation is enough that no trick is overpopulated
