good game
I played it when they added it free onto ps+, I knew nothing of the controversies surrounding it, when the game just fucking ended at what I thought was the end of the first act tutorial stage of the game I got really sad
And I'm still mad about the way they forced microtransactions and dlc into the game. The game itself is good but I just can't reconcile how could they do this to a series I care so much about. I will always be mad Zig Forums
>another DXMD thread
And this game still makes me nauseous. I've already increased the FOV to shit but it didn't help. What do I do?
Any other games with as much kino and soul?
Only 4? Huh, this is one of the rare times where I don't feel like something was just yesterday.
Me too user. I fucking hate it. Fuck SE and fuck corporations.
get better genetics
Nigga, this doesn't happen with any other game. I can play Human Revolution for hours on end without feeling any discomfort. It feels like Mankind Divided was made to be played on TVs very far away from you.
From what I understand they were forced to do that in order to make as much money as possible from the game because of it's wildly bloated budget that was so massive they could never make their money back via just sales alone.
and it still didn't work because who the fuck buys extra praxis kits.
>tfw we'll never know the full story of fake Adam
They cursed themselves by changing Sarif voice actor. Now they'll forever work on soulless shit SquareEnix tells them to work on.
According to their earnings report the game contributed to Square's profits
>What do I do?
avoid reproducing
Yeah, loads of people complaining about it on the Steam forums, but the problem is with me, not the game. Sure.
Kill bloom, motion blur and or play other game
Happened to me with ark evolved
Yes, you are all defective and should be humanely disposed of.
>mfw that ending right after it felt like the story was just getting started
good game but rushed, also fuck square enix
100% of world should die then, imperfect humans everywhere
Been thinking about playing this game after I go back and finish the original Deus Ex. I really liked Human Revolution.
And that would be a good thing.
wtf, how did the budget get to the point where this happened? I mean it seems to me like it uses the same engine and even a lot of the same assets / designs as HR. Also isn't it a pretty popular series, especially after HR? How did they lose so much money?
This is a pretty bad sequel, human rev was 10/10 compared to this one
The story is incomplete and game technically is kinda bad, but I really enjoyed level design. The action part is better too I guess.
All in all worth playing for sure.
prague was a forgettable hub even though it was pretty, I would have preferred more globetrotting like the previous games
MD had potential but it was fucked up by marketing. They had to do game modes no one gave a shit about, and a bunch of other marketing garbage like universe, muh social relevance, and microtransactions.
imagine if they cut all the extra garbage no one asked for and focused their efforts on developing the game further
MD felt more DE than HR
>I would have preferred more globetrotting like the previous games
I agree. I think this may have been planned but they cut back a lot. They had some geographic diversity in MD, but they weren't explorable cities so it wasn't a true experience.
What locations would be interesting if they ever did another game?
You mean that de is trash tier then?
You need to take a second look.
I'm replaying this right, and I forgot how boring it is.
Witcher 3 came out a year before Mankind Divided, and still blew it away in terms of story and quest design.
at what?
And mods are still faggots.
South Africa and wealthy Arab lands. No one does them in sci-fi.
I would have liked if Dubai had been an actual hub instead of a shitty tutorial, a full London hub also would have been nice
So much missed potential
Rabiah is in Oman so it would be interesting if that was included in a future game. Also, like says, I would have liked if Dubai was an actual hub.
Not sure how SA would factor into the universe. I'm sure there is a connection and existing references but it's such a huge story rich universe.
California was also referenced in various ways such as Versalife. I would love another asian hub as well, Japan perhaps.
>No one does them in sci-fi.
You don't need Sci Fi
Seeing Prague with this lighting was kino
