People honestly had problems with this segment? Literally ADHD have some fucking patience
>Have some patience in this platformer where the movement is made to be fast and not immediately punishing if you don't have a grasp on the current mechanic being introduced
This and riding the Yoshi all the way to that pipe are both going to be a fucking slog as usual if I can't speed up the game like I could on Dolphin.
its triggers me that the "X" button above Fludd will still look the same on the Switch.
Why'd they choose this as the last level? You ride a shitty boat then you go up and you beat the boss. Even the shittiest Mario games have a decent final gauntlet.
It's a speech bubble that looks similar to the GC X button is all.
time constraints. why do you think the game only has 7 worlds?
>final level doesn’t test you on the skills you’ve learned in your journey
>final level introduces new gimmick unless you did the tedious Yoshi mission
It’s not too hard, but it’s crap
Would have been acceptable if after the boat segment you then get more platforming, but that's it
Nice final boss fight you've got there, Sunshinefags.
I HATED this boat as a kid. It took me like two days just to finally get it right.
>normies will have to clear the pachinko level
>inb4 "Is Sunshine the Dark Souls of Mario?"
This will filter so many zoomers when the collection comes out.
But zoomers grew up on Sunshine.
you already know you won't be able to idk why you would think you could
Grew up doesn't mean "born with", Zoomers don't remember shit about the 2000's.
What triggers me is that the remaster doesn't let you use the GC Controller with the GC Adapter like Smash and some racing games or a lot of different games do, you can't play it with the original scheme because they were lazy
THIS is the real filter that will destroy the zoomers
Oh, stop being a tryhard. This shit was hard as fuck as a kid.
Lmao what the fuck? The 2000s was prime zoomer childhood.
See here: Sunshine was many zoomers' first Mario. Sunshine is our blood and bones.
>he didn't grow up in the best generation of video games
cope harder boomer
this guy gets it, advanced fucking trigonometry on that level.
Why do people hate this meme again?
Haven't played sunshine in almost two decades and I instantly remembered why this is hilarious.
This was the only part of the game with actual difficulty, and even then it's mostly because of how patient you have to be. Most of the weird difficulty spikes in Sunshine just involve figuring out what the devs want you to do, like how to work with the fixed momentum boost at the beginning of the Pachinko level or angling where the chucksters throw you.
Unless you had a basic grasp of physics in which case it was easy since you would quickly realize that all you have to do is stand on the front of the boat.
>shoot water back and to the right
>boat moves forward and to the right
Makes no goddamned sense.
That's Millenials not Zoomers tho
If you don't remember 9/11, you're a zoomer.
Just stand on the front retard. If you're pushing the back of the boat to the left then of course the front is going to turn to the right.
I was pushing the back to the right and it was turning right
born in '95 and I clearly remember 9/11
Gimme more time grandpa, in some decades you'll be the one who have killed himself and I'm will be the one who's crying about these new kids
(soon to be sneedster)
They won't make it past Pachinko, provided they even find it. If not that, the sand bird. I can't wait to get a heart attack from the high levels of pure salt that shit's going to cause.
