Nope. Meta is pure chaos right now. Last season was nanoblade every match. This season it’s protect the roadhog. Brig was still OP until they straight up tanked her a couple months ago. Only ana and mercy are worthwhile unless you’re good at Zen who is just a glorified DPS. They made Orisa the worst hero in the game.

It is a very aggressive game right now. Shields all got nerfed pretty hard. DPS all just got toned down a little. At the end of the day the game is still just guard a choke. The midfight has become a little more flexible though with like 500 dps characters all able to do different stuff.

I haven't played in ages and the only character i was ever good with was Lucio, this makes me sad.

there is an open role queue as well for those people who complained, my problem with role lock is that I prefer different heroes for different maps, in any KOTH mode I'd usually be totally fine playing support or tank, but having the freedom to just swap to something that we need RIGHT NOW was helpful. Many of us play the entire cast anyways. I always considered those games where you have like 5DPS just a product of where I was in the MMR anyways, if you actually want to win you're going to pick a character that flows with the rest of your team and one that is good in the map that you're playing.

They literally just nerfed hog after the buffs, and things seem to be moving into a dive meta. The only problem is it’s been so long since dive WAS meta that current tank mains don’t know how to play it.

im a plat dps. only reason I win games on dps is because I make callouts and have a game sense above a potato. can’t say the same for other plat players unfortunately
