Is curved screen worth purchasing over 2 monitors?
Is curved screen worth purchasing over 2 monitors?
Assuming you want to play a good amount of vidya on it, no.
For work they are pretty comfy
Nah
2 monitors all the way
Whats the best size to game on?
1440p 144hz is the sweet spot.
27 inch?
I don't like curved and with they kept making flat ultra wides
Yeah. I've had the Dell S2616dg for like 6 years and its great.
Curved screens are the ultimate meme.
wish*
this
They suck.
I like mine alot and most games I play support it so yeah go for it.
Neither. Focus all your processing power on getting as much frames as possible. An extra screen is just an unnecessary distraction.
My brother has 2 of them. They're really great for the price.
Had this about a month. Get it.
are the negative review accurate or they just bad at computers?
i have a 24" 1080p 144hz curved and i like it alot. has to be your primary monitor though so i have a flat as my secondary
Nah, honestly these gimmicks just aren't worth it. Go out and find a cheap ~40" 4k TV that doesn't force a bunch of shitty image processing and just use it as a monitor.
Its way better than a multi monitor setup, both for getting stuff done and for gaming.
Some popular TVs for this kind of use even have custom firmware people have coded that adds pro monitor style features.
ASUS tend to make pretty good stuff. specs look good.
>won' be available until November
yikes
I already have a 65 inch tv for console gaming.
lg.com
is this a good monitor? 4k 144hz
34 inch 3440x1440 good for gaming
for work
49 inch 5120 x 1440 is better
what about 2 curved screen monitors?
my concerns:
>RGB
>awful port placement
>hideous bulky stand
>TN piece of shit
>great
What actual benefits does a curved screen have over a flat one?
>stands
People still use the default stands? I thought Zig Forums have standards and use mounts.
65" is too big for a computer monitor. 40" is nice because at 2160p its right around the ppi range where you can use it 1:1 as a desktop without scaling.
If you're used to having a pair of 24" 1920x1080 monitors side by side and having to choose between a usable amount of horizontal space in landscape, or a usable amount of vertical space in portrait, a 40" 2160p display basically gives you a slightly sharper image and the ability to have two 1920 pixel wide windows side by side with 2160 pixel height, and then when you go to play a game you can play full screen without having any annoying bezels in the middle.

It's one of the better 1440p panels out there. 60Hz motion handling isn't the best, but if you get high framerates it's good.
That monitor has barely more RGB than Asus or samsung monitors. LG also has the highest quality screens since most companies get their LED from LG.
Whats the difference from 1.2 and 1.4 DP?
Why not two curved screens if you cant decide?
Regret buying yours do you?
