The first version of the cover has Rayman in his regular outfit for the most part but for some reason he is wearing the pants that come with the disco outfits torso except not even with anything else from the disco set, just the pants.

The second cover's is less significant but instead of Rayman having his white gloves he has these kewl fingerless gloves. Im sure this also come from a alt costume but I haven't played RR in over a decade.
I don't know what the deal was with changing only one piece of Rayman's outfit for the cover. It looks so weird and out of place in both cases.
