After you get chickens, cattle, and grow a variety of crops. and mine some... there is nothing left to see... the story is weird and doesn't fit. and you just do the same thing over and over. You become a slave to collecting eggs, making mayo, and harvesting crops.
Interesting fun game at first, but boring. My friend put in 40 hours in the first Year of the game.. got married did it all and mined to the last level. Nothing left to do.

God, I want to like it, but I just fucking suck ass at the pvp. I don't mind getting ganked, that's going to happen, it's MEANT to happen, the risk of loss is meant to be exciting, the risk of gains all the more, but the voyages and shit can take so fucking long.

It's so fucking time consuming to do anything, and if you want to minimize your loses, you make more frequent stops at outposts, meaning even more time consumption as the game rapidly progresses into become a dock hand simulator.
I wouldn't mind a sort of booty bay enforced neutral zone at the outposts. I know, I know, the oceans would be fresh water if not for my tears, but fuck, on the flip side it's also frustrating to make it to an outpost, ready to spend your next fucking 10+ minutes of hand bombing loot, only to have some galleon roll up and nuke your ship while it's parked in the Fuck Me Daddy zone.
