Repetitive missions, and open world navigation was just really simplistic and barely evolved. I was comparing it to sunset overdrive, which while not hard had you constantly engaged in traversal by finding different ways to keep up your momentum and speed. In spiderman you just have to be low enough by buildings.

Most of these aren't too fundamental to not be "fixed". The ending is pretty good thematically.

Linear, half-baked stealth missions

The Mary Jane and Miles sections aren't as awful as people say, but they don't really do anything for the overall game. Also, not enough boss fights and in particular not enough boss *chases*. Strongest segments of the game are swinging through the city in pursuit of a tough enemy, and it only happens like twice outside of random car chases.
