Invisible war was fine, I will never understand the immense disdain it receives online.
and Thief 3 was just a straight up amazing game (with sneaky upgrade at least) and honestly I prefer it over thief 2.

Because it's a bad Deus Ex. Simple as that. It was a game developed with consoles first and foremost, with stupid changes like universal ammo pool, everything was streamlined for dumbasses. It's a bad Deus Ex.
It's an alright RPG shooter if you ignore the name.

The single worst sequel I've ever played is Dragon Age 2, an abomination. Runner-up has to go to Halo 4, but it's a distant runner-up.

This. IW was a great game and it didnt have a boring filler mission like the original one with the cargo ship.

invisible war is pretty fun.

Universal ammo didn't change much at all from the original deus ex. it removed the insane rationing you needed to do late game for most ammo types, and the alternative ammos werent even that great

I played Invisible War and can confirm it’s shit. Real world parallels and facts are replaced with generic sci fi fantasy, and the gameplay is worse than the original due to console limitations

I came around to T3 later, but at release it was very disappointing. High system reqs/XP only, long loading screens, more console-ized. But I like it now. I had same issues with IW, maybe I'll try that again too.
