>bruh moments
you need to go back
They should have scrapped the 60gb model and simply let people change the stock hdd for another one or advertise from the beginning that you can expand via usb
History will repeat itself very soon
Basically, 599 sounds awful to people
Its unironically better to split the number like xbox is doing (300 for the Series S, 180 for the gamepass, 200 for the memory card)
>being poor
Man, those really launched with a 20GB hard drive?? That’s fucking crazy considering nowadays a terrabyte is what you need if you don’t want to constantly delete shit.
For anyone wondering why the Xbox One went down so poorly, this is what set the stage. Orth was a Microsoft employee, and in these tweets he was reacting to the outcry over the rumor that the Xbox One required an internet connection. People went into that reveal ready to hate Microsoft, and when the rumor turned out to be true, the reaction both on social media and in the press was merciless.
games were mostly on disc and only a few gb were copied to the hard drive
I still think about that video Sony made showing how you share PS4 games in response to Microsoft’s stupidity. Never have I ever seen a company get so ruthlessly BTFO. It still has yet to be topped
its crazy that someone with social media could be this brazen about a product they're trying to sell. it almost sounds fake
I think he felt free to voice his opinion because while he was part of Microsoft, I'm pretty sure he was not a part of the Xbox division. He probably thought of himself as having nothing to do with it.
It’s crazy that you can tell if someone’s a shithead or not solely from their profile pic.

complete and absolute savagery
just move to xboxland poorfags
I think sony was banking on the idea that the series x would be at least 600 dollars and were gonna price that ps5 at 500-550
they're probably shitting themselves hard now
>Why on earth would I live there?
this and completely unironically. hubris has always lead to one of the big three doing stupid shit.
>expand via USB
Sony didn’t even allow you to that with the PS4 until like 2017. I wasn’t surprised when they moved their PlayStation headquarters to California.
>Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some sort of connectivity. It's called Xbox 360
Keks my shit everytime I turn on my 360 and I get a new patch. The last one removed all ads (even if they were for Black Ops 2 and Forza Horizon 2) I hope they aren't planning to pull the plug.
everytime till you never forget

>bruh moments
We need to ban zoomers
>xbox stops reporting 360 sales exactly when ps3 outsold them everywhere
>Don Mattrick did everything he could to justify always on
>Told offline players to go fuck themselves
>Tried to sell the Kinect as a revolutionary tool of expansion
>Claimed always on allowed them to make 'cloud accelerated games'
>Destroys the Xbox brand
>Goes and works at Zynga
>Tanks Zynga too
How the fuck did this man get to where he was?
Time moves forward, gramps. Just because you are autistic enough to want to stay stuck in the past, doesn’t mean everyone else is.
Im bout that PS triple baby
dont forget at first they told journalists and everyone at e3 and beyond it would "impossible" to make the xbox one offline because it was designed to be online
Hilarious reading the NeoGAF thread about predicting the PS3 price. Few people saw it coming. EviLore's guess:
>$299 is the only way to hit 200 million. So I'll go with that, even if it's considered unrealistic.
It was so bad that they slipped in paid online and no one batted an eye. The outrage of the xbox one overshadowed everything else
