You can counter me simply by not letting me see you, ever-- or one of your teammates can also change to Sniper solely to counter me, wasting a player slot to nullify a problem that shouldn't exist. This is good game design! And don't even think about trying to painstakingly snake around the map to catch me off-guard, because for some reason I have a plethora of close/mid range weapons and defenses despite being a long range class. If you're getting crushed by a sniper for free, then you deserve it because you and your team are bad.

Good thing that the only classes sniper can kill with an uncharged headshot are classes that either shouldn't be getting headshot easily (scout, spy) or shouldn't be on the frontlines anyways (engineer without a gunslinger, sniper)

I just thought it was fun bonking people from across the map. The new sandman doesn't even do anything except lower your health. I've never noticed a scenario where the "slow" from the ball actually did anything.
