At first not much. I'm about 15 days in and have been working my way up in difficulty. I woke up with sore fucking abs, but the game's estimate (no idea on accuracy) is that I've been burning 200 calories per workout. It's killed my ED that started since Wu coof started too. It might not be a replacement for a gym, but it's WAY better than nothing, really fun, and keeping me semi-active while locked indoors.
The game could do with more elaborate mechanics, but I guess that would be too difficult for a casual gamer to understand. I really like the OST though, it's very catchy and I was not expecting much.
The only really stupid thing is the game telling you for the hundredth time how to fucking measure your heart rate EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU LAUNCH THE GAME ON THE PROFILE YOU'VE PLAYED THE GAME ON A MILLION TIMES BEFORE.
Caloric deficit is key. Eat less and move more. Some people lose weight faster than others, but if you're taking exercises seriously, you should be losing a pound a weak. More than that means your caloric deficit is too high and you're losing muscle as well as fat
